Did a great job
We were never given an estimate before the job. The guys looked a bit ruff, and were rough with the TV they broke, and crate that somehow got lost. My dad called, no response. We moved my dads room, yes one room. Some boxes, few odds and ends. It was close to $400. I moved the rest of the 2 story house with Loves, I paid $260. Unbelievable difference in price. They new they messed up, so didn't respond. I had scheduled them to move me, they never called. I hadn't even canceled, I had hired Loves anyway. Just poor business.
They were amazing they even drove straight through to washington to get my stuff to us as early as they could i will highly recommend also best prices i could find
WARNING! THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT THE 3 MEN AND A TRUCK YOUR LOOKING FOR! THESE PEOPLE WILL ACT AND PRETEND LIKE THEY ARE THE 3 MEN THAT WE ALL ARE LOOKING FOR BUT THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT THEM! Very disappointed. I was quoted $85 an hr but was charged more than $95. The guys that showed up to do the moving SENIOR CITIZEN literally. Poor guy said he was 68 and not in too good of shape because of his diabetes! They said no problem I'd be done in 2hrs or less several times but it took them FIVE HRS & charged me $500! They tore the heck out of my wooden floor & trim. Took chunks out of my stairs. Dented the my refrigerator and were even going to cut my fridge power cord! Thank god my brother showed up and stopped them! They carried 2 pictures in at a time when they could've stacked the bunch on dollies to save time. I went from being told $200 tops to $500! I can only hope to be able to edit this review with positive customer service and they try to remedy the situation. I really would like to give good feedback and hope they care about making this better. We shall see
If you hire this company be prepared to spend alot of money to repair the material damage they may cause, but be warned that there may be no way to repair the emotional damage. This company was hired to move the contents of a home a 1/2 mile to another home. They began by gouging a deep scratch in our expensive wood floors. Those panels had to be replaced which cost us $476.48 for materials and labor. They also damaged the front door frame and storm door while forcing our couch through which had to be repaired before the new home owners would close. Another $257.14. But the worst part of this nightmare was that the contents of our family memory chest was discovered missing after the movers left. It was like someone had picked up the trunk and dumped it to sort through later. It was completely empty! What kind of creep would steal our childrens baby photo albums? Pictures of deceased grandparents, old school yearbooks, letters from old friends and family, a family bible from the 1800's, our wedding photos. All gone forever. When we called and told the owner about it she showed little concern. She said she would ask "the crew" about it but, of course, they didn't know anything. The contents of the chest had evidently just vanished into thin air. Luckily, we had the foresight to move all of our valuables to a safe location before they arrived, but we never dreamed that the most valuable items of all, the contents of our family memory chest, would be a target for a no good, rotten-toothed thief. My wife is really distressed over this, not because of the money or the damage they did, but because of the missing contents of her memory chest. She cries everytime she thinks about it, and that's what angers me more than anything.
