A-1 Daniel Moving & Storage

We worked with Allied to move from Little Rock to Pennsylvania and Daniel Moving was the local contractor in Little Rock. The movers themselves were professional and did a fine job, but communication from the office was just terrible. They were scheduled to pick up our furniture/boxes on Monday, July 30th. We called on Friday and confirmed they would arrive between 8-9am. They were late picking up our belongings and no one bothered to let us know - after waiting and wondering on Monday morning we finally called the office at 10:15am to learn they would not arrive until after noon. Our shipment then sat in Little Rock for two entire weeks waiting for a driver, and not one single time did Shelia our moving consultant ever proactively communicate with us about the status of our (now extremely late) shipment and when we could expect its arrival. We would not know anything about our belongings unless we hounded them for information. No reasons were ever given for the delay. An extremely disappointing and frustrating experience.

Movers came in on time and packed all of our delicate items well. However they smelled very bad and weren’t friendly. They sealed the crate for our furniture very poorly, so moisture got in there. Our mattress is covered in mold. Also, our bed frame is broken. Our door knobs to a chest and my vintage vinyls are missing.

Definitely recommend Daniel Moving. The team was very polite and professional. Packed everything quickly, labeled and categorized all the boxes, and made sure I had no questions. Will be a repeat customer for sure!
