The team was well organized delivered as promised and cleaned up as if they were not even here. Great group of guys and very respectful.
Excellent! The guys were very meticulous in preparing our items for shipment. We have an old loveseat that's surely seen better years and they even wrapped it up like a baby as if it were worth $1,000! Very friendly and courteous! Everything was delivered to its destination perfectly! I highly recommend A-1 Freeman Moving Group!
We moved from Houston to Tampa in July 2018 and A1 Freeman performed a poor service of our household goods relocation, and its storage as detailed below. Their insurance agency also denied reimbursement for damages to many items and only gave a small amount. We are now left with many damaged goods because of the poor service or moving and storage of our items. Because of their denials and throwing book at us, we even had a transportation/moving company to inspect the way these guys had stored our items and they wrote a report state that the service provided was not professional and the storage service was bad. To demonstrate this, pictures have been attached to this report. These pictures were taken as was found. Lastly, we had used A1Freeman to relocate my research laboratory materials and equipments as well. A1Feeman and STI similarly performed the service poorly, with lost computers (resulting in permanent loss of research data) and heavily damaged equipments costing us much money). A1Freeman and STI refused even to look at the matter or send an adjuster, instead, denied everything, same pattern of business practice. This is despite our obtaining an insurance policy for $600,000. The university has now banned them from doing business with the university. Here is the excerpt from the inspection--as found: As per your request, we inspected and then moved your belongings that were stored at CubeSmart storage facility. You stated that these items that were stored were packed in Houston and then directly moved to the mini storage unit by A1Freeman agency using their agents and North American Van Lines in late July 2018. In our inspection, we note.. major issues as follows: 1) We found that the Steinway piano was not on Piano board, or protected with sleeves, a standard procedure for long-distance moving and storage. It was wrapped with cloth and saran wrap and was placed on its side on a concrete floor (see Picture). 2) The piano legs were not wrapped using any wrapping papers, or boxed, and stored poorly. Some of them were stored next to a garden saw (Picture). There were scratches on the piano legs. 3) The other delicate components of Piano such as part of the pedal mechanism of the piano were also stored without wrapping or boxing. 4) The rosewood formal dining table or its legs were also stored without any wrapping and the table had a gash across in the middle (Picture). 5) Sharp objects were stored next to delicate items such as leather sofa (unwrapped). 6) Antique chest was found in broken, dismantled state (Picture). In our opinion, none of the above constitutes as professional moving and storage service. We have complained to the BBB, but could not see any resolution of this problem.
