A Mover

Charged me 160$ to move my disassembled bed from point a to point b and gave up at the new house because one of their guys couldn’t get onto the military base.

As a small business woman, I trust clients (mostly other small business people) to pay for the services we provide. In 20 years of doing business, I can count on one hand the people who have not paid for their ads in our magazine. David agreed to run 12 ads in Tidewater Women at a special rate and stopped making payments after the 2nd ad. He is in arrears for $375 and does not return calls.

These guys are amazing. Safe & careful yet efficient. Nothing was damaged to include the brand new floors throughout my new home I installed in the days before I moved in. I've had some awful experiences in the past but these guys are spot on.

I was moving out of my dads house and in with my Fiance, and all I needed help moving was my Bed frame w/ headboard, a mirror dresser, standard dresser , a night stand and queen size mattress-box spring. I had called everywhere looking for a reasonable quote and they all were outrageous. Just when I was giving up I called David with A- Movers and he quoted me a price within my price range. Tom and George showed up on time and they were super nice and professional. They made sure to communicate with me the whole time with all questions and before taking anything apart. They put everything back together just as it should be without any damages and placed all my furniture how I wanted it. I will use this company again when I move in the future!

Very unhappy. When I first contacted for service they were very polite and gave a great price. However once items were moved there were some damages. They responded quickly to acknowledge but then eventually never came out to view the damage never offered any compensation. Then just stopped responding all together. I would rather pay more for a larger company next time and at least know I am covered.
