Having moved many times in the past, this was the best moving experience we have had. John and Mark were very courteous - they called us sir and ma'am and treated our things with much care and respect. AAction Movers was truly pleasant to do business with and I would highly recommended them if you need a company to move you. Ask for John and Mark, and you will be in great hands!
UPDATE 12/16/19 - I did finally get a check for a couple dollars shy of what I submitted for. This was after a lot more back-and-forth. It's nice to get the payment back but I still had such a terrible experience that I doubt I'll hire them again. UPDATE 10/27/19: Lowered from 2 stars to 1 star. They have ignored me and given me the runaround on my claim for the items they damaged and lost. I’ve had to constantly email them for updates & they’ve made no progress in almost 3 months of having an open claim for just a few hundred dollars. That’s ridiculous. 08/15/19 - asked to file claim for broken items 08/26/19 - followed up because I still hadn’t received info on how to file claim 08/26/19 - Received incomplete info & asked them to clarify a few things. Was ignored & got no reply, so I left my reviews. 09/16/19 - Received an email out of the blue that just said “submit claim” & literally nothing else 09/21/19 - after some back and forth, got the info I needed & finally was able to submit the claim 10/07/19 - Emailed to follow up because I hadn’t heard anything 10/07/19 - Was told I needed to send the photos again because they couldn’t open a zip file (which suggests they hadn’t even looked at the claim before I emailed to follow up) 10/10/19 - Sent them the photos again 10/17/19 - Emailed to follow up because I hadn’t heard anything 10/25/19 - Still haven’t heard anything & I officially give up This is truly unacceptable. It seems to me like they just wait around for you to give up on your claim. The lack of professionalism is staggering. I can’t bring myself to recommend this company to anyone. I’m flat out disgusted with the poor customer service. If you do hire them, pray they don’t break anything because your claim will probably also be ignored, just like mine. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'm very frustrated and disappointed with AAction Movers. Not only did they break several of our things, but we ended up paying as much to move 15 minutes down the street as we did to move across the country. That's just ridiculous. They started out wonderful. We got the quote and it was pretty high, but the person who helped me out was lovely. I figured we would come in under the bid since we really don't have that much stuff, and since these bids usually come in a bit high. The packers also helped us reduce the costs by using fewer boxes and less paper. They were jovial and helpful. They kept reassuring me that they were helping cut costs. Moving day, the guys who came were very polite but pretty slow. I'm a little worried one of them came to work with a hurt back, and that might be the problem? I honestly don't know. It somehow ended up taking the entire day to move, and they left our doors open the whole time, which made our energy bills at both places ridiculous. The final cost came in HIGHER than the bid, over $3,000, to move 15 minutes down the street. That's just insane, especially after practically everyone I spoke with face to face kept assuring me they were helping me shave off some of the cost from the total bill. What's more is I found several things broken, including two important statues and several of my bookcases. Photos attached because at this point I just have to assume nothing else will be done with them. When I tried to file a claim, I was routinely ignored. I don't know if it's a communication thing or if Sherri just doesn't reply to emails, but nothing has happened and we've been in our new place for 6 weeks now. Their claim policies are also frustrating. If you want to get any of your money back, I hope you have a receipt for everything you've ever owned AND a link to where you can buy it now, just in case it might break! When I pointed out that I don't have a receipt for everything I've ever purchased, my email was just ignored once again. I'm sick of emailing them to ask what the status is on my reimbursement. I'm just astonished at the price and the lack of professionalism after they have your money.
I have to give TJ all 5’s. He helped me 2 days and He was awesome he really made my days smooth and my customers were very pleased as well. I also want to mention Daniel he finished his job and just came over and started helping us out and these guys were very impressive and they never worried about time they were just wanting to make sure my van was loaded correctly. Thank You to Monica and Mark for staying after hours and for being so helpful. I will definitely be using this company for my helpers in Nevada. Thank You: Clarence Brown
