STOP READING REVIEWS AND JUST HIRE THESE GUYS! They offer fixed price moving, which if all movers worked this efficiently would be a horrible value over hourly, but only because they are seriously good and also fun to be around, while still being professional. I got other quotes, in a perfect world it could have been cheaper to do hourly, but moving isn't fast, and you have to drive across town at the same rate as when they pick up heavy things, and I want to know how much something will cost and not just be watching my watch for how expensive it is getting. Showed up at the exact time they said they would, with two trucks and five guys, I was expecting one truck and three guys. I seriously hate moving, but the crew was so fun to be around that it was just a pleasant experience. I had multiple pieces of furniture that needed to be taken apart and reassembled, they knocked it out of the park. Nothing damaged or scratched, and unlike most companies, I honestly believe that they would have taken care of anything they damaged like they said. I honestly can;' say enough good things about them. I moved six weeks ago with them, and they were so good that I feel guilty for having taken this long to review them. I attached pictures of all the damaged furniture. (Get it? no photos=no damage)

You guys went above and beyond anything I could have asked for!! From the moment I called to schedule the times, to the end of the job, everything was so organized. I even got reminder text in the midst of the chaos of moving to a new home! You all moved heavy furniture, boxes, and even miscellaneous items that were unboxed- all day long and it seemed effortless! You all were so kind even when I asked you to rearrange several times and even coming back because of things that could not be done when the painters were at the home! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Rick was very professional and helpful when he came out for the estimate. Mark and his crew did a great job getting our stuff packed. There were a few marks left on the walls, but this was understandable given the fact some of the pieces in our upstairs were large and very heavy. Just a little touching up was all that was needed once they were done. Mark and his guys did an outstanding job unloading the next day as well. The new house presented its own challenges to getting some of our furniture pieces into various rooms, but they were up to the task. My wife and I highly recommend Absolute Moving to anyone in the Hampton Roads area.
