Eric and his team at Ace Relocations are top notch professionals. We contracted them for a large job through my workplace and I was so impressed that I had to book them for my own move. Communication, planning, and customer service were all off the charts from start to finish. Moving is stressful enough, if you hire Ace you know that you and your belongings will be well taken care of.
My son and I just moved from Austin TX to a small town in western New York. We contacted Ace Relocation Systems for a quote. The sales rep came into the house and before long we had a very reasonable quote and we hired Ace to do the move. The crew came and packed everything that needed packing. They did it quickly and professionally . Everything was loaded onto the truck and gone in just a few hours. When the truck arrived at our new home in NY the driver backed the trailer into, what some would consider a difficult driveway for such a big trailer, with ease and without damaging the lawn or the driveway. He and his assistant got everything unloaded and placed where we asked without complaint or difficulty. They were very personable and easy to talk to. All in all I am extremely pleased with the service I got from Ace Relocation Systems.
Another bad business with bad business practices and bad business ethics. This company was the 3rd leg(delivery and unpack crew) in our move. They told me they would need to get a shuttle to deliver our things because our apartment complex didn't have space for a 20' trailer to get through. That was an extra $229.50!!! I asked them whom they sent to survey the property and if they spoke to management because no one spoke to me. They told me that one of their employees lives here also and sent them pictures of the property. I told them that was ridiculous and that I insisted on them sending out a professional surveyor and that I wanted to be with them during the survey. They sent out a guy this time. The 3 of us spoke with the property manager and she told him that NO ONE has EVER had an issue with moving trucks through the property. Even with 53' trailers moving in and out. How can you tell me a 20' trailer won't work when a 53' trailer can do it!? We proceeded to survey the property. The guy talked to me like I was some kind of idiot. "I'm not sure my driver could make that turn there.. blah blah blah" Um, does your driver have a CDL!?!? He was clearly searching for a reason to bring in a shuttle instead. BUT EVEN AT THE END OF THE SURVEY, HE TOLD ME THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE IT!!!!!! I got a call the next day saying that we still needed a shuttle. I asked WHY WHEN YOUR GUY TOLD ME IT WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM. I was told that based on his notes, we need a shuttle. So someone is lying. Then the movers showed up to unpack...with a "shuttle" that was just a 20' moving truck, rather than a big rig with the 20' shipping container. Remember, 53' trailers make it through here all the time with no issues. I spoke with the driver about it and he said "Ah man, sorry man. They did you cold." Yeh, thanks man, I know. The moving crew was actually really good and did a good and quick job. Not enough to forget the BS that their colleagues put us through though. I'd NEVER recommend anyone to use a lying, thieving company like this one. P.S. In the picture I attached, I saw this truck make this turn with ZERO problems and thought I'd share with y'all. The blue line is the path the driver took, which is the same path that the surveyor said he wasn't sure about.
