Review:

Great moving company with a long established track record. Service was professional and fast. I would recommend I can see why they have been in business over 100 years.

Great place to help you move. They are very respectful and treat your things as if they were their own. They work hard especially the tall black guy. Tip him, he's strong.

Review:

I am so sorry I chose Adam Meyer Moving for my move There were several small things that on their own would not have been terrible: a very low-ball estimate and misinforming me about the use of credit cards (they don't accept). But was really problematic was that I found damage to my newly refinished floors about 1 week after the move. Altho one of the owners, Rodney Pursell, came out to look at the damage, he based his final determination that Adam Meyer Moving was not responsible from the team that did the move. He did not respond to me via return phone call but sent out a letter and included a copy of a form I signed (this is accurate) that damage must be noted before the movers leave. He stated that he thought the damage was "obvious and apparent" and as I did not note it at the time, he denied the claim. I agree that the team worked very hard on my move and tried to protect the floors. However, statements he made in his denial letter were inaccurate about details where the floors were protected. I contacted the contractor who refinished the floors. He stated that the wood was "crumpled" and asked if something heavy had been dragged across the floor. The answer was yes, a sofa was moved into the room and the entry to the room is where the damage occurred. I regret having chosen Adam Meyer Moving & Storage. And I regret purchasing the insurance at an additional charge. I prefer to hire family-owned companies such as this one. But this time, it was clearly a mistake.
