Great moving company

I’m doing my final retirement move from Louisiana to Florida and was sent the best of the best to make this move effortless! Mike and Kyle were not only 100% punctual, but they were 100% professional from start to finish! Absolutely second to none when it comes to packing my home of over 10,000 lbs in an expeditious manner. They were also extremely accommodating to my needs and were never too much in a rush to where I felt like my items were being mishandled. Please do not hesitate to hire them as your moving company, they will definitely take care of your home extremely well!

The initial estimate, communication, and services were great. It was after we signed the contract that they added another family to the moving truck. Even though we disagreed they said they do it all the time and put dividers between their customers' possessions. Issues: 1. Poor packing. The particular item attached was placed in a box with what looked like a catch-all box without padding of any sort. This item was placed face down on top other hard items and not labeled as fragile. So it was one of the bottom boxes. This item isn't made anymore and has not been priced yet to submit a claim form. 2. Missing boxes that contained very precious items. This was mostly from the Master Bedroom. 3. Christmas ornaments were also missing. Some of them were of high value. Many others were of our kid's crafted ornaments, ornaments with pictures & dates, and many hallmark captured memory type ornaments containing the year of the special memories we had. 4. We ended up having some of the the other family's possession. We took the initiative and hounded the moving representatives for SEVERAL weeks just to get a response and finally were able to get the items returned to the other family. This company will will provide a claim form for you to fill out. However, what do you want most? Your possessions or the job to figure out what is missing and fill out a claim form. We will NEVER recommend this company or other Mayflower affiliated companies based on the extremely poor services provided. We should have had all of our possession without anything broken for the THOUSANDS of dollars we paid for this out-of-state move.
