I had a really bad experience with a NYC moving company years ago. I'm talking holding my stuff in the truck because they "didn't think it was going to be so much work," and they raised the original estimate price to nearly triple. Yeah, I paid. Yeah, I filed a complaint. No, nothing happened. Setting that background, you can image my reticence and concern to hire any moving company again. But there was no way I could U-haul my move to Pittsburgh during the Covid crisis. So I got some in-home estimates. I liked Tony (from AGS) immediately. He was laid back and friendly yet professional. He gave me some advice if I were to go with another company (e.g.: if they try to sell you insurance, don't buy it). I dealt with Wendy (Tony's wife). Poor woman had to deal with my snarky anxiety. But she was always responsive. She even changed the move date up two weeks at my request with no price change. Tony arrived literally at 9AM as scheduled. He and his crew worked like ants; they just kept moving. My house was packed in impossibly record time. The same occurred in Pittsburgh. Tony and his men were truly professionals. It was a wonder and a pleasure to watch them work. Everything went seamlessly from beginning to end. No hiccups whatsoever. This move was a pleasure if you can believe that. Thank you Tony and Wendy for making such a stressful occasion worry free. I would highly recommend AGS Moving .

Wendy, Tony, and our 3 main guys - Mike, Cedric and Laaarrry! This company is not only professional and quick, they really made mountains move (no pun intended) when we were in a tough spot. I can not recommend these guys and girls enough. If the stress free move and absolutely zero damage to all our stuff and house wasn’t enough, the price quoted was very fair. Tony and his crew moved me from a 3 story 6500 square foot home in one day. I could not be more impressed. 2 trucks, 5 men, 12 hours and no breaks. They could not have been any nicer. Professional from the start. They were careful with all of my furniture and were able to handle large heavy pieces. They disassembled and reassembled everything no questions asked. I highly recommend this company. Request Tony and Larry if you have large heavy pieces. They did and outstanding job, and I don't impress easily. They are honest, and trustworthy and most importantly, honored their original quote.
