Alexanders Mobility Services, Hayward CA

We had this company move us as a part of relocation This was not our first relocation, but by far the absolute worse. Olivia from Alexender's Mobility Service wrote us through our Relo company and stated that we were over 1600 lbs. over the weight allotted, which was over $1700. The thing is that I knew this to be absolutely false. When the company came to give us an estimate , they estimated for everything that we had, sheds, tools, household items, furniture, etc. to be a little less then our allotted weight limit. From that time, I did a thorough clearing of our things, as I knew that we would be downsizing in home and so I I literally gave away or threw away OVER half of our total belongings. The actual moving guys also told us that we were greatly under our limit. So I knew for a fact that this charge was completely false. I then asked for the certified weights from an independent government agency. I was even willing to be present at the reweigh so I could verify this information. Of course, she could not provide this. When they reweigh was complete, she stated that I was then only about 60 pounds over the weight limit!!! When I asked for another certified weight of the reweigh, crickets. The facts are that this person blatantly and boldly provided false information about the first weigh in, or the company stole over 1600 lbs of our items. It gets worse, the company broke most of our furniture, and many things were stolen. I am planning on filing a police report to include with the claims. I packed boxes only to have the movers cut those boxes in half and put a number on it. The packing was horrendous. I literally had to throw boxes of items away, as they were so damaged. I would strongly suggest that anyone who goes through this company document everything, as I did. This was not my first move through a relo, but was the most dishonest.

These people are nasty! It begins with the father and goes down to the sons. They were moving people in & blocked my car and then took their good sweet time moving their moving truck. I was 7" late and had to forfeit my appointment. Then when I returned they had blocked my driveway. At that point the father became verbally abusive. The son questioned why I came back so quickly. Aren't I allowed to have access to my house? DO NO HIRE THESE PEOPLE. The father is a misogynist.

Expect to be informed last minute that your delivery, scheduled for the the day after and already late, won't happen. This incompetent company will just make you loose time and money... stay away!
