Haven't used them, but all I can say is don't call for a quote unless you absolutely are going to use them. Filled out the form online, clicked the box that said we were just budgeting and getting quotes, again told the lady that when we spoke (we don't even have an exact moving date yet, and literally just wanted to see what movers would cost because we've never used them). I have since been spam called three or more times every single day. The first day or two there was no voicemail left, so I didn't know who it was. Then they started leaving voicemails on the third call of the day. They finally got a hold of me this morning, so hopefully it will stop. They must be pretty desperate for business, because I have NEVER had a business call me this much just to check up on the quote I was given. Especially after saying multiple times I was just budgeting and getting price ideas. Never have used them, but honestly this was kind of a turn off so if we do use movers I don't think I will. SO again, don't ask for a quote unless you are ok with being called a million times a day. **Edit** I finally spoke with someone and told them I wasn't interested and again explained that I was only getting quotes and ideas mostly out of sheer curiosity. And here we are a week later and the calls have started again. LEAVE ME ALONE I AM NOT INTERESTED AND HAVE STATED SEVERAL TIMES
I called and requested an estimate for my move Pooler to Pooler, from a house to a 3rd floor apt. I was quote $480-$600..and told no more than 5 hours. It took over 4hours just to load up at my previous home and then when the movers got to the apartment they moved incredibly slow. They were immediately tired after getting the washer upstairs, which was the only thing they had brought up after being there for almost an hour. It ended up being over 10hrs of work and they brought me paperwork with a total of $1365!! I called the office and talked to Brian who did end up giving me a discount when I told him I could not pay anything over $900, that was literally all I had and was $300 over the budget that I had planned on. He said for me to fix the damage to my china cabinet that the movers had caused on my own and to give them some reviews. Well here is an HONEST review. I appreciated the discount but I would have never hired them if I knew it was going to be that expensive. Ya'll seriously need to improve your quoting skills cuz that was ridiculous.
I had called about 2 weeks before I needed help to schedule the movers. The gentleman I spoke to asked if it would be easier for me to do the move in the afternoon right after lunch, I agreed. When the moving day came I took off work after lunch. The truck didn't show up until 10:30pm, yes that's right 10:30pm. I had ordered three men and two men showed up. They did work hard while they were at the house packing. We all drove together to the new house. Thats when things got interesting. About half way through the unloading process they called their "boss". They tried three times to give me the wrong amount of hours that they were billing. Once we got that straight came the bad news. For 3 men I was quoted $145 an hour, guess what they charged me for two men, $127 an hour. When I suggested I didnt agree to that they closed the truck and said they wouldnt take anything more off the truck unless they were paid the fee. I called the Police who responded, he said "I signed an agreement" and that I would have to fight it out in civil court. This is a scam, a bait and switch of the highest order. Stay away from this company and these fake reviews. Chuck Smith
