Casey and Ryan here in Salt Lake City were the perfect response to our needs. We were not prepared as I would have liked for a major appliance move. They had two units to move to different places on our property. In fact they found our property without any trouble (when everyone for the last 20 years always gets lost). They completed the job in less time than promised, even though they had to remove several parts and doors to make it work. Then they left the place immaculate. And they did it all with a fantastic attitude! We will look forward to using them again!
Jose and his crew were all really amazing. Extremely thorough and careful to ensure they got everything from my first house and delivered to my second house. A small peg fell out of a dresser and they even made sure to put that back where it belonged. Truly outstanding work. So glad I hired them.
They moved my daughter last week. I was there the whole time, as we both took the day off work. It was a one-bedroom apartment move 5 blocks. We had moved everything but the box springs, two TVs, a small organ, a couch so light I moved it in myself (I am a 60-year-old woman) a bookcase, a slight coffee table, a 2-drawer file cabinet and a bed frame, as well as a couple of lamps. We were told they would be there late morning. Showed up at 6p.m. with different crew after I pitched a fit. (Didn't need to take the day off work, so that's money lost). Took until 8:45 to move that small amount of furniture and the manager had to come help because it was taking so long. Charged $10 for a mattress wrap on a box springs --- they didn't move the mattress. Charged $50 for shrink wrap, an extra hour for their travel from 3300 South to South Temple (Previously disclosed, but would have figured that covered the gas to get there, as well) and my favorite, $63 for fuel to make the five block move. Took a dinner break -- not even joking -- and did discount $100, supposedly. The move was by their reckoning worth $600; she had to pay them $500. On their way out, one of the two movers (both were very pleasant) asked for a 5-star review. I wanted to ask for my day back. I would never recommend or hire this company.
Had a move used this company and the employee Ryan was phenomenal. He never stopped from the moment he walked in and the job was done. We were very impressed with the speed and accuracy. They did a great job wrapping all the furniture.
SO many issues! 1. I was told they would be leaving the office shortly after 9 am and we were their first move of the day. They did not arrive until noon. 2. Neither were practicing social distancing measures. Alex was standing about a foot away from me, rushing me to sign all the documents before I had a chance to read them. I was assured that the company was strictly following CDC guidelines. Definitely not. 3. I was moving from one apartment to another and did not need the truck at all. I told them this multiple times, but still got charged over $400 for the truck and fuel charges. 4. They did not wrap or protect my items. They ruined my brand new bedroom set. 5. Alex mentioned that he was a former gang member. He used several intimidation practices throughout, like threatening to keep our furniture, etc. He was hitting on my daughter and then bragging about it to his co-worker when he thought no one was around. The other mover (I forgot his name) threatened to tape up my daughter and put her in the back of their truck. When they were leaving, they had the nerve to ask her to stand by the truck for a photo. Given the earlier threat, she refused. 6. Very far from actual quote in price. What should have been $119/hour for 4 hours, ended up being $1500. We hadn't budgeted for that, so we had to ask them to go and finish the move ourselves. 7. Alex asked me to buy them beer. I initially thought they were fairly nice, so I asked if that was ok and he said "Oh, we'll be there a while" so we did go get them beer, but then they sat around drinking beer and talking to my daughter and asking her to get them into her union (get them better jobs). 8. At the end, Alex told my daughter that she should be thankful that they didn't used blankets or anything to protect the furniture because it just would have cost more.
