Always Helpful Movers

DO NOT USE This is the first negative review I have ever written, but feel it was necessary to help inform potential customers to look elsewhere when finding a moving company. I had the worst customer experience one could possibly have. Moved from a 2 bedroom apartment into another 2 bedroom apartment at the same complex. Called and spoke to Greg who gave me a quote of 3 hours. On move day, received call that they were running an hour late. Once they showed up, the crew did not look or act professional. After 6 hours they were still moving my items our of the first apartment. I live there by myself and did not have that much stuff. The 3 times I checked on them I found the supervisor in the truck on the phone and the the other 2 workers visiting. I called and asked to speak to the owner, I got a call back from Greg. I explained that how unhappy I was with the service and let him know as a business owner with employees that their level of effort was unacceptable. He stated, "well you should have had them move you" Requested a call back from owner who did call me. He accepted no responsibility for the poor service or how long it was taking. His only concern was with getting paid. After a 9 hour move and $1200 bill, I was left with damaged items and boxes e everywhere. I still had to go back to old apartment and get items that were left behind. If I can help steer one customer away from this business this review was worth the effort. Please stay away.

OMG I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. They were fantastic! I called Always Helpful Movers two years ago to move my TredClimber from upstairs to the basement and they were perfect. So I called them again this week when I needed the same equipment moved to a new address. The three men that came to move were so curtious and professional, I can’t say enough good things about them. They were on time, reviewed the manual and moved the machine without nicking a wall. I will use them if I ever need anything else moved and have and will continue to recommend them to everyone I know.
