Read the fine print! I found out the hard way that if your items are damaged in a local move their total liability to you is 60 cents a pound for the damaged item. In other words, if they break a $100 crystal vase that weighs a pound, they say sorry and pay you 60 cents for it.

This company delivered a couch for us to our new house about a week after closing. They pretty much tore up our upstairs. Scratched the wood stairs in multiple places, multiple dents in Sheetrock, mangled our door frames and tore up our baseboards

I would just like to give a shout-out to Alex who went above and beyond when moving a large sofa to our small condo. Not only did he and his helper bring it in and put it together completely for me, he also moved a large chair up a tiny spiral staircase that I had been struggling with. I tried to get it up there and couldn't, but he made it look easy! He was polite, courteous, and seemed energetic, even though it was almost 9 pm and they had over an hour to drive home. Alex is a wonderful employee who definitely makes this company great!
