Review:

I never heard back from them to move my baby grand. Highly disappointed. I had left a message with my number and name.

Professional in every way. On time; polite; fast; knew exactly what to do and how to do it; no BS; very reasonable price. My wife was utterly amazed at how smoothly and how quickly the piano was packed up, moved, and set up at the new house. Don't even think about using anybody else.

Review:

I arranged for Apollo to store my piano in climate controlled storage and then ship it across the country. Without my permission they subcontracted to a guy in a rental truck who claimed he could move a Steinway L (5'10") grand and set it up by himself. They did not return my multiple calls for a week while my piano was being moved across the country. At last, Jake Apollo called me back and explained that they essentially had no control over the move; the piano was totally in the hands of the gentleman they subcontracted to; and I had to secure additional movers at my expense if I wanted the piano handled safely. Jake agreed with me that one person cannot safely move a grand piano, yet he didn't seem to think it was his problem. I requested that they reimburse me for the extra expense, since I had already agreed to pay them $2,200 for the move. They have not responded. I also became suspicious based on this experience that my piano was not actually housed in a climate controlled environment (the guy in the rental truck who delivered my piano said he picked it up from Jake Apollo's "garage"), and emailed them to ask where it had been stored for the previous year and how the climate was controlled. No response. Throughout this ordeal I have left multiple unreturned phone messages and it's clear they don't want to be in contact. I'm amazed at the poor business conduct. This is the first negative review I've posted online and I do it to help avoid a similar experience for the next owner of a valuable piano.
