Aris Export

Another great experience with Aris Moving. I have tried several shipping companies before finding Aris Moving. As my shipments always involve fragile items we really needed a company that went the extra mile. Isaac and his team do such a great job of packing that we never have any broken or damaged items. I really appreciate their honesty and thoroughness to make sure that my items arrive safely and make it through the myriad of customs regulations. Frankly they are jigsaw geniuses when it comes to packing a container!! Thanks again!

I had a very positive experience with Aris moving for a move to India. Isaac really cares about your items. He created a custom wooden box to hold all my cartons so they don't get lost or damaged during loading/unloading. The pickup was on time and very professional. The boxes were delivered inside my house, and there were no damages. Items arrived just as they had been packed. There was some issue communicating with the moving company in India, and the staff at Aris promptly had the issue resolved.

It was mid fall of 2018 when I made a whirlwind decision to move out of the Bay Area after decades working in various Silicon Valley infrastructure firm. I found a technical role in Milan, Italy and had to sell my condo fast, dispose of things old and move my books, furnitures and personal effects. I called upon a few and finally met with Isaac of Aris Moving/Aris Export Company. They specialise in domestic and international moves. Isaac was very professional, methodical, great project manager and organisational skills. He is a no frills professional that informed me my options, the risks, as well as informed me about international customs requirements. In my case, I am both US and EU citizen, so I repatriated, so he gladly also provided all the necessary forms and documentation, which I cross referenced with information from the Italian Consulate in SF (Webster St), and Isaac was spot on! The packing and move out was smooth and very efficient. While his workers performed the tasks, Isaac ensured that the goods were packed efficiently while providing me with all the completed forms and bills of materials and requirements for customs. I stored my belongings for a few months, since it took a while to finally buy the condo/loft I so desired in Milan, he was very efficient in communicating with me via email as I extended my storage requirements. The shipping and receiving happened in Netherlands, the folks at Aris Export communicated all the contact information efficiently, and my experience with their shipping counterpart in the Nordics was also fabulous! Finally two funny guys delivered my belongings (it was a door2door service) from the Netherlands to the city of Milan. They efficiently stacked them and re-assembled my bed. My goods all arrived as they left my Dogpatch SF condo - all in tact. It was a pleasant experience altogether! Oooh, the only downside, is they only accept CHECKS! ... quite old school, but it's a small price to pay for their efficiency, dependability and amazing customer service. Thank you Isaac for a great experience in moving across continents. I will definitely use your company and services again should I need to ship from the Bay Area to Italy, (or to anywhere in the world for that matter). Who would have thought that moving across continents would be fun? Now, I am ready to begin the final chapter of my life.

I used Aris to move from Oakland to Rome. Use Aris, because they know all the ports and they work with great companies overseas who do great work. Nothing of mine broke, and the European movers who were from England were resourceful and patient dealing with narrow streets, and the inability to block an area for a moving truck. They figured it out. This company, Aris, knows what they are doing. I only shipped seven cubic feet or so, and it was worth it. I didn't have to waste time buy new dishes, etc. Plus it is nice to have some of your personal effects overseas.

We shipped our household furniture and several musical instruments from California to England with Aris Export and everything arrived in great shape - no breakages and nothing missing. It took 10 weeks from door to door. Isaac was extremely helpful at all stages of this project, including pre-move visits, accurate estimates of container size and costs, and even building wooden crates for the instruments. This is an honest business with a lot of experience, and we are very glad to have used their service.
