Bates accepted and stored online furniture purchases for my new out of town condo for 6 months. They kept me informed with each receipt, and rejected goods that arrived damaged. They delivered the furniture within a week of my request when the place was finally ready. I couldn't have asked for a better system.

They were terrible I mean terrible all I can say is terrible. Oh my God do not ever use these people if you have to move.

We used Bates Moving/United Van Lines for a move from Grasonville, MD to Atlanta, GA in early summer 2018. They did an outstanding job from providing a very thorough estimate to having an extremely knowledgeable moving crew who took great care with my parent’s treasured possessions. They answered any questions and provided much needed assurances throughout the moving process and Donna Bates who works in their office was such an asset!! Even their packers were awesome. I cannot say enough positive things about this family owned business. Everyone I worked with throughout the process was extremely professional and pleasant to work with.
