Bekins Transfer & Storage

My move with Bekins turned out to be great! At first I was a little apprehensive because of my age (79) my last move I made I was in my early 20’s, it was a breeze, being the age I’am now, all sorts of things went thru my mind, but Bekins kept reassuring me that everything would turn out just fine, and so it did. Everyone I dealt with were wonderful! The three men that moved my belongings did a wonderful job, they were efficient, careful, very strong, just amazing men! Thank you Bekins!

The sales rep. was great at explaining all the details of the move. The 3 man crew was well organized and had all our items packed in under 3 hours. Glass tops and mirrors were created for Xtra protection. The delivery went great. The driver gave two days notice and we right on time. His helper was right on time too. They had everything unloaded and in place in 2.5 hours. The third party packer arrived the same day and unpacked the glass tabletop and mirrors. Nothing was damaged or lost. Great job!

We had a very pleasant experience with Bekins. From start to finish, the move was seamless. The first 3 guys were so great, that we requested them on the unload as well. We got 2 of the 3 same guys to unload everything which was lovely bc they knew us and our belongings which made us feel more comfortable. Najee, Auston and Kyle were FANTASTIC! What a great group! They had great communication which is highly necessary to pack up and unload 2000 sq ft of belongings. They were so patient, friendly and respectful the whole time. I imagine they have tons of movers in the company, but I would request these three any day if we ever move again! Nothing but good things to say about them. We did not purchase insurance. One thing got mildly damaged on the corner (by a different guy who unloaded us) and two pieces a little scuffed...nothing crazy that can’t easily be fixed or hidden. Accidents happen. We’re all human. Overall, highly professional and would recommend them to anyone looking to move!

Initial load up and contact was very good. We had to put things in storage for 3 weeks and then have it redelivered. The re delivery was horrible. Several boxes were broken,plastic totes were broken things were water damage because it was raining and a little bit snowy and apparently they left the things out in the elements before they brought them in to the point were total boxes were leaked through. Furniture was only partially put back together walls in a brand new building were damaged and dry wall was gouged. I even found a leg somebody else's furniture in one of my bureau drawers Also had a Box delivered with somebody else's numbers on it that was empty and should have had TV in it. Still in the process of unpacking so I'm hoping I'm not missing one of my boxes. For these reasons I do not recommend this company

Bekins was very great to work with and did an excellent job of packing/moving items to California from Pennsylvania. All dishes/furniture arrived intact and within the allotted window. The Truck Driver, Moving Coordinator and Sales Team were all responsible and caring.
