Beware! Beware of this company and the reviews you read. This is a reckless and unethical company. We booked our out of state move and car transport with Best Moving. What you are not told by this company is that they don’t do all the jobs themselves- they broker out their jobs by putting them into a “pool” that are then picked up by other moving companies. So, everything you have agreed to, signed for and paid is now at the mercy of the new company that has picked up your job. The new company do not have to honor anything. The employees at Best Moving will never tell you this – they will flat out lie if you ask them how it works. We found all of this out shortly after the truck left our home. We had paid $700 additional for expedited delivery- our property was to be picked up and driven direct to the new location in 3 days. We were given every possible story as to why our property was not being delivered in the 3 days that we contracted and paid for. We were told a military move slowed it down, then it was a truck issue, then it was they can’t get reach the driver- then Best moving stopped responding completely. The truth, there was never a 3- day delivery and Best Moving was not the mover of the job. The company in Tampa that picked up the job had 4 other jobs they still had to pick up that were going to be on the same truck. Our property was on a truck for 8 days. We were the last job to be unloaded. By the time it arrived, there was a significant amount of damage to our expensive furniture. Additionally, we incurred 8 days of hotel and food costs totaling over $2,000. Not one person from Best moving would even call us back. We had to threaten to dispute charges on our credit card before they would refund the $700 expedited delivery charge. This is a scam company. The sales rep and the sales manager are complete liars and the owner is either absentee or supports his staff’s reckless behavior. The owner never even contacted us to correct the problem despite numerous calls. When we contacted Allied Corporate offices- we were told that it’s a franchisee problem and there is nothing they can do. We have reported this to the BBB and Collier County Consumer Protection and State of FL.

Allied has always been my moving company internationally and locally. I trust the service, the professional attitudes of the whole company. I just finished a local move from North Ft Myers to Punta Gorda. My two young movers Tyler and Tyler were the absolute best!! They were professional, respectful, efficient and very pleasant to talk to. And they are STRONG... Many Thanks to those two boys who made my move so easy, free of worry. This was the best move my wife and I have had after undertaken many corporate relocations and personal moves over the years. Steve and Jared, and the entire crew, were efficient, punctual and friendly. All of our goods arrived in excellent condition. We moved into a new high rise in Pelican Bay from Mediterra. I really want to compliment Monique, Jared and Tyler for an amazing job! We had a full condo worth of new furniture that was solid teak (heavy) and needed to be navigated through a number of twists and turns. They were professional, oh so careful and caring with our things (not to bump walls etc), unpacked and cleaned up before they left. A completely delightful experience! Highly recommend!

Best Moving and Storage transported our household goods from a local storage to our new home after a cross-country move. Jared, Tyler, and Jorge were absolutely professional, courteous, and careful throughout the entire process. They responded to every request and question we had for them with good cheer and a "can-do" attitude. We were extremely happy with their services and would heartily recommend them to anyone looking for moving help in SW Florida.
