Bill Ball Moving Services

I had used Bill Ball moving services twice in the past with great results, but this time things didn't go as well. They moved items from the apartment my son's family was in and a large storage unit. However they didn't want to move items in a storage building behind their home until I called and explained that was supposed to be part of the deal. They came back and moved the rest and in the process knocked a hole in the living room wall. This was new sheet rock as the house was being repaired due to a house fire in December. The cost for the first part of the move was $390 and the second part was $220. I thought the cost was a little high considering everything was packed and ready to go, and all they had to do was load it up and unload and take to the designated room in their house. Plus he went on a tirade about the damage done to the wall.

I called them to move my daughter out of her apartment and they said they would be there on Friday morning to move her things. When they got there they didn't even back the truck in because they had already made their minds up that they didn't want to move her stuff from up stairs. They came inside and said their guys have asthma and couldn't take the dog smell. He said they come back the next day and they would call her back in 20 minutes with a time..of course they never called back and we called them numerous times from 3 different numbers and they wouldn't answer the phone. We hired someone else who wanted the 600.00 and didn't mind the dog smell. I will never call this company ever again...be careful if you call them...the thing is I'm buying a new home in 2 months, and it would've cost me over a thousand dollars to move all my things, and I will not be calling Bill Ball to move me. I paid almost 1300.00 last time to move and I'm sure that this time will be just as much. But I will definitely find someone better...there are lots of them on the internet..I guess Bill Ball just doesn't need the business.. if you have stairs, definitely don't call these people, they will run for the hills...

They were supposed to be at our house at 9 AM, they did not get to our house until 1:00 PM. I had confirmed with Randy Hensley the date and time on two different occasions because the move date was on a Saturday and the storage unit closed at 4:00 PM. We were rushed to get our furniture loaded and to the storage unit before they closed. One of the guys had a very foul mouth, they were very disrespectful. Because we were storing our furniture and belongings for a undetermined time, when we did get our furniture out of the storage unit, things were missing that I know were loaded into the truck. I would not recommend this moving company under no circumstances. Randy Hensley and his bunch are a sorry bunch!!!!!! Because of the delay, we requested to speak to the owner Bill Ball, Randy said he didn’t liked to be bothered, so, Mr. Ball doesn’t need to worry about us or anyone else I can tell about this day from hell.

I used Ball moving services the 1st weekend of July 2019. There were 3 men instead of 4 which was quoted when the price was set but since only 3 came I received a discount. Also, the guys were Very nice and helpful. Only stopped for a 10 minute break while loading from my old place and then another 10 minute break when we arrived at the new place. They never slowed down or wasted any time. I’m very pleased with their service and won’t hesitate to use them again. Nothing was broke and they put everything where I asked them to. Thanks guys!
