I am a Professional Organizer and I have been involved in many moves in my 13 years in business. My client chose Brick by Brick Moving as recommended by a friend. The owner, Tim Toomey, came out and assessed her move which was complicated, to say the least (a rent home and 3 storage units while her new home was being built in a country club area. We have been in an extreme drought for months – and then torrential rains started about 10 days before the move, with flooding the day before the move. We went forward with this 2 days of moving. These guys took such incredible care by securing each and every item in a way that nothing ever got the least bit of moisture on it. They used a system with 3 guys outside in the rain, 2 guys inside unloading in sock feet as to not track mud inside the owner’s home. Despite the home not being 100% complete and there being other contractors all over the home and the movers having to dance all around them, they were cheerful throughout the whole experience. They interacted with my team of Organizers with so much respect. And what’s more, he stuck to his original bid; he was spot on with his estimate of the expected number of boxes and supplies for the job (where clients have paid 3 times more with other movers). I would highly recommend Brick by Brick Moving in the future.
We have moved cross-country numerous times, using all the major national carriers and none of them hold a candle to Brick by Brick. They were prompt and professional and their price was very, very reasonable. The move originated in a highrise which shared a freight elevator with a major hotel; waiting for the elevator was a pain but there wasn't one word of complaint from the crew. We had two points of drop-off, the house, (very tight staircase with 2 landings) and a storage unit. Everything went without a glitch, including navigating a king-size mattress up the stairs. They were professional, moved our family heirloom antique furniture with great care and attention to detail. I have, and will continue to refer Brick by Brick to my friends and family.
I've used pro movers before. Always the cheapest option out of highly rated Yelp businesses. This time I had a last minute schedule and Brick by Brick ended up being my only good choice. I'm so glad I got these guys! Anyone can move your stuff, but being smart isn't always in the cards. The desk I had them put together took me 6 hours the first time I had to do it. This time, I decided I should let the movers try. They do this all the time, right? 20 minutes later - DONE. They all worked together and talked out the possible arrangements and just got-it-done. It's amazing how they also helped me arrange my furniture so everything would fit and look good, while being extremely fast and friendly. These guys walk and talk. We had good conversation and still they got the job done more quickly than expected. Thanks guys. It was nice meeting you and I'll be seeing you again when I decide to move next.
