Cannon Moving and Storage Inc

I’m going through and taking pictures of the items that were damaged in our move. I have a very nice vanity mirror and the magnifying side is shattered. It wasn’t even wrapped with paper and was on the very bottom of a box. The back of a cabinet is completely smashed. A small set of drawers is broken and it was not wrapped either. Multiple other pieces that should have been wrapped and boxes were just placed in crates. My husband had to go to the warehouse here to extract his firearms which were supposed to be in crate 1, they were in crate 11. The movers here that delivered our household goods kept shaking their heads and made the comment that they would be ashamed if they packed the way Cannon Moving and Storage packed. Contacting TMO on base first thing Monday morning to inform them of all of this and hopefully it will be handled appropriately. This is my husbands 8th PCS in his 16 years of active duty and this was by far our WORST experience. You trust people with their belongings and then a bunch of kids show up to pack your possessions and they could careless about the condition it is in once it arrives.

They don’t care about the military. Threatened to cancel my shipment the day before I moved because I questioned them about water damage. They told me they were doing me a favor despite getting paid and selected by the military. I went there to discuss concerns and they were very aggressive towards me. They will deny this is real, but it is. Stay away.

This is an update to my initial review. When I spoke with the main lady, Sandy, she did share how her driver actually had $120 per person as opposed to what the other gentlemen had stated. She did even offer to go out and buy a dollie for them to unload our belongings. HOWEVER, I still cannot recommend this company. After the first company quit, Sandy did not get anyone else out to our home until 7:15 pm! My husband finally called her around 6:30 pm and told her he would help the driver unload if she paid him the money which she did agree to. During this whole ordeal, she did not bother to call and provide us with updates or check on the progress of things. Even the driver told us she never called to check on him. We reached out to her multiple times for updates. Due to the entire situation of the first company quitting on her and us and with her lack of communication, the driver of Cannon Moving and Storage did not leave our house until after 11:00 PM. Because of the late time and us having a toddler and infant, we didn’t start unpacking until the next day. Numerous of our items were broken, some missing, and they showed no care about our belongings. The packers packed my wedding bouquet inside a box with garage items and we found a few of our religious items thrown at the bottom of boxes. I know military members are stuck with whichever company bids to do the move, but if you can, please avoid them.
