Captain Move-A-Lot

Excellent crew and very quick move. All the charges were clearly explained to me before the moving date and on the day of the move. John was super fast doing the job and he was a great leader for the crew. Whole crow helped put a few things in wardrobe boxes to speed the process and were very professional. They were quick and did not procrastinate moving from room to room diligently wrapping the furniture and securing all loose items prior to loading on the truck they got to the new apartment and loaded it right away much better than I could have done. Also friendly and EFFICIENT :) The service from Captain Move-A-Lot from start to finish was excellent and I HIGHLY would use/recommend them to any friends or family.

I hired them to pack and move my house. They came to see my place for an in-home estimate, since I wanted a binding fixed or not-to-exceed quote (goo.gl/IEqbeO), and nobody will give such a quote without seeing the place. They were polite, friendly and courteous the entire time, and after taking a look around the house we agreed upon a binding fixed price of $1,000.00 to move my one bedroom apartment (with kitchen, living room and laundry room). This was almost half the price of the next best quote I got ($1,700 from Pedro's Moving Services (goo.gl/azFljE); also very nice folks). I confirmed that Captain Move-A-Lot is licensed in California (goo.gl/RHP7IH) and that their insurance is current, and hired them. On the day of the move, they sent three nice gentlemen who arrived at about 8:20am and set straight to work disassembling the furniture and packing the house. Once the entire house was packed, they took a 30 minute lunch break and met me at the new house. Once there, they moved everything into the rooms I asked them to, reassembling the furniture along the way. Once finished I paid over the phone and they left. This was definitely the best moving experience I've had. Thanks guys, you did a great job!

Great experience! Although they were about 30 minutes late (to be expected with movers, especially in the afternoon), they called beforehand to give us an arrival window. Once there, they were extremely speedy in wrapping up the furniture, loading, and unloading. They were exceptionally quick, professional, and friendly. This is the best moving experience I've had in years. Thank you!
