Asheville, NC Stole my $100 Bose Bluetooth speaker on Thursday, April 30th and my bags were unzipped and gone through when my girlfriend had her stuff moved out of her apartment. The company wouldn’t take responsibility for it. Do not trust this company and it’s movers.
John and his crew did a great job loading and unloading very professional. Joyce, Kimberly and Tracy helped us through the whole moving experience.
We were very dissatisfied with our move. First, we were scheduled for a packing day and they did not show up. Secondly, they lost our 60" flat screen TV. Then one of our front steps was damaged during the move. We did not notice the damage for a couple of days, because we always go through the garage. We first contact Allied and then Carey Moving and were told because "we did not write down anything on the paperwork the day of the move", they would not do anything for us. We asked for them to pay for the stair to be repaired or reimburse us after we got it fixed, and we were still denied any compensation. Even though we did not write down anything on the paper (because we were unaware it happened that day), I did contact them a few days later and filed a claim, but was told that did not matter. It is frustrating that the movers didn't say anything when it happened and that a moving company can damage property and not take any responsibility for it.
Every thing went smoothly, from the sale to the final delivery. John Roberts and his crew were some of the hardest workers I have ever seen. They were also a nice bunch.
I hardly know where to begin! This has to be the most horrible moving company! I have moved more than 15 times during my life and NEVER have I had a company do such a horrible job. Still after nearly three months waiting on payment for lost and damaged items. If you care anything at all about what you are moving DO NOT use Carey Moving.
