We just recently moved into our new home from VIrginia to Maryland. We had a great experience from the beginning. Jim was great to work with and the moving crew (David, Ronald, and Rivas) were efficient, thorough, and professional! Definitely recommend and would use their services again!

We had a great experience with the internal staff and the moving process A couple of missteps that we have dealt with one and pending on another issue. The front desk was great, Finance was great and Rob and Ernesto were great !

The movers were 5 Star. However, buyer beware. We have a deposit over the phone to a sales person whe went over our list and had both addresses. We were told Rob would be in touch. I ended up contacting Rob to let him know that we live in the historical district with narrow streets and where your taking it to is a gravel road at a lake house. We heard nothing until the night before. He said in our contract)fine print) if they cannot get an 18 wheeler in your neighborhood it’s an additional 1000 or more shuttle fee. We were stuck! The lady in the office asked management to know off 200 buck, but there’s not many residential homes that can accept 18 wheelers. So, take on another 1000 for your fee!

Very fair pricing, and no issues whatsoever with our cross-country move. Packers and movers were on time for every step. Plus the responsiveness for questions/updates is worlds better than larger operations (we moved with a national carrier before this). You should absolutely go with Carmack if they are available for your moving dates.

They made the moving process easy, We packed up most of everything. The guys got there on time, we had a pretty large crew and they packed up everything faster than I thought. Very professional and management was very good at answering any questions. Move in day the crew was smaller but they showed up on time and worked hard and got everything done. They were very proffessionall as well and management again was in contact to make sure it all went well.
