I used Carmack for a move across country. I would recommend them but would make two suggestions to prospective customers. 1) Only take advantage of getting a lower rate by letting Carmack share your truck with other customers if you have the time to await your delivery. It can take quite awhile for your belongings to arrive. I waited five weeks. 2) Be extremely hands on while your boxes are loaded into and out of the truck. My "Fragile" markings on boxes were ignored (heavy boxes were placed on top of them in a very random fashion). Plus, I had my items placed in storage at my destination. Not only were the Fragile boxes treated in the same careless fashion when they were unloaded, but I had graphically marked several boxes to be put into the storage unit last (at the front), so that I could get to them quickly. Although I pointed those boxes out at the beginning of the move and again before the truck was unloaded, my request was ignored upon delivery. I haven't yet unearthed all of those boxes or unpacked all of my fragile items, but I'm assuming and hoping my breakables are intact. I still gave Carmack four stars, because I've never moved completely across country. I don't know if these mistakes would have been made by all movers.

I used Carmack to store my belongings while I was in between homes. Once I found my new home Carmack responded swiftly to bring my things to my new home. The morning of my move the crew called to let me know they were on their way. There was a team of four friendly guys who unloaded my crates quickly. I felt the price of my move was very reasonable and each and every employee I dealt with at Carmack was very customer service oriented. I highly recommend Carmack for your moving and storage needs.

My company used Carmack Moving & Storage for our office move in the dead of winter and it was WONDERFUL! I have used them before for a local move as well as a long distance move when my husband moved back east from Colorado and both times were great experiences. This was the first time using them for an office move and now, I will exclusively use Carmack. It was a freezing day, the crew was on-time and had great positive attitudes. You would never know that it was cold out because not a single member complained or mentioned it. They moved us so quickly I almost wish I had more stuff! They wrapped up all our desks and office belongings and moved us into a new office in a matter of hours. We did our research before our very first move and found that not only were the licensed, but when we compared them to other local businesses we found them to be the best priced and the most knowledgable. My advice to anyone moving their home or business is to do your research! Ask the right question, and make sure the company you go with is licensed and insured. Don't go with the cheapest option you come across because you will probably get screwed along the way. I would recommend Carmack Moving & Storage to anyone that will listen!
