We ordered cabinets through Lowe’s. We waited several weeks for a day that would work for our family as they stated they only deliver certain days to this area. We scheduled someone to come out of town to be at our home for a whole entire day for this delivery. The office was called on multiple occasions and told them we had a gate, provided gate code and that we have a private bridge they would have to cross. Not to bring a big truck. Upon getting to the property the driver backed over our well breaking the line. Upon leaving the residence he didn’t allow the automatic gate to open completely and drove through. Snagging the gate and bending and twisting the gate till it was inoperable because was dragging on the ground, motor wasn’t powerful enough to drag it. One can imagine how upset I was arriving home to no water and a broken gate. My husband was up till 2 am fixing the water line. The next morning as soon as they opened I called in and asked what the driver/workers had reported. Lady looked over the delivery and stated nothing had been reported. I gave her a brief description of the extensive gate damage and that it needed to be fixed/replaces. She stated a manager would be in contact with me soon. Next day I called and asked what was coming of the issues. I was told they knew nothing of the situation. Quickly I realized this was something I would need to be documented with Lowe’s as well as Allen and Roth(cabinet company). As this company(CBC) denies even a simple phone call to report issues. I provided all pictures CBC asked for. Then needed pictures of the gravel disruption from the gate being altered. Provided that. Then she wanted pictures of the paint on the gate. Provided that. Then an email basically back stating that there was a lack of evidence. Meanwhile I had asked what her men stated happened...no mention of the well they backed over. However they did mention three different stories of how the gate got bent. First they stated the gate opened normally when they left. Then they tried to say they had to manually open it when they left. They also mentioned my father having to open the gate. So story has changed three times on what happened as they drove by the gate when leaving. But their email back sounds as if I have lack of evidence vs their men’s statements???? Huh. I guess maybe they think since they have drug this out several weeks that this will be swept under the rug. Think not. This is my very first review of a company....worst business I have ever delt with. They should be ashamed of how this was handled. I asked to replace a gate that your company broke, when I could have asked for so much more.... Instead what originally started as a $209 gate was worth their trouble and greater expenses and bad reviews that lie ahead for this company.
I’m convinced the delivery team broke the leaf on my dining table as the metal side piece was mysteriously hidden inside the underside of the table, and they didn’t put the leaf in when I asked about it. The picture they took to evidence set up occurred also has the leaf turned the opposite way in the corner of the room so the damage wasn’t viewable. They got my signature and left. Anyways, I didn’t notice it until 4 hours after they left and immediately called CBC. About 12 calls to them later, I’m left with no compensation for the damages, and they told the furniture company I signed the papers so the furniture company won’t help me out either. My second to last call to them I was promised a new leaf or compensation. I called back a week later and was told that the person who told me that is no longer working there... and have no record of them saying this to me. Very disappointed with this company.
This company is not reliable and will not work with your schedule. On Friday I reached out to them and the woman informed me they can only deliver on Monday. I asked if they can at least deliver after 5:30 pm and she said no. It can range anytime from 8am- 9pm. I took Monday off from work because i didnt want to be charged for redelivery and they texted me at 10am Monday morning that the delivery has been rescheduled for Tuesday. I called again and the lady told me the scheduler will return my call and she never did. Now I have to take Tuesday off because of their mistake and unreliablity.
I called them in advanced and let them know I wasn’t available before 3pm and to deliver after 3pm the lady who always picks up the phone said she would leave a note so they would try to make that happen. I find out they are delivering at 8:30 AM today so I call and let them know what was communicated. She said she couldn’t promise me that would happens to reschedule and that there was no promises again so there was no safety net for the paying customer. I called my dad since he is the one purchasing the beds and I’m only translating and confirming our mattresses. I called her back and let her know my dad was upset with the communication and tried to know how they operated and if we can make something work out and instead of being understanding she raises her voice and has an attitude. So I have to an additional week and a half for our mattress .
Great company to do business with. Very friendly and helpful staff and always very professional.
