We moved from the US (North Carolina) to Germany with the help of Champion and we received great service. Everything was packed really properly and our goods arrived undamanged in Germany. The Team was friendly and all in all there is nothing to complain about. My employer paid for the move, so I can't judge the price.
Great service and committed staff.
Very pleased.
My family moved with Champion from China to the US late last year. We had a fantastic experience in both countries, and felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Thanks for your help!
I had my vehicle shipped as part of a government Permanent Change of Station. Because of the nature of the PCS, shipping was done through a series of contractors. The vehicle left Los Angeles, CA and arrived in Hilo, HI. Within one week of arrival I had diagnosed a broken power-steering pump, broken harmonic balancer, broken transfer case bearing, water in the front and rear differential, and significant bearing damage in the rear axle. I had the car serice 10 days prior to shipping, including and extensive drive train check. Everything was 100% operation and in good condition prior to shipping. I have letters from two mechanics in Hawaii attesting that the damage was most likely caused during shipping, either from standing water infiltrating into the axles and then a series of cascading problems as the drivetrain failed, or anecdotally someone doing some heavy four-wheeling and not knowing how to engage/disengage the system properly. Despite these letters and documentation they denied my insurance claim and said so sad, too bad. I am now at $4K in damages and incidentals. I have shipped this car to Hawaii twice before, both times out of pocket personally and directly through Pasha Hawaii ($900). Both times I had not had an incident. Under no circumstances would I ever use this company again, professionally or personally. I will do my most to impress on my federal employee colleagues the failure of this company in its responsibilities and suggest they ship their vehicle personally as an out of pocket expense. The best part of this is since this vehicle relocation was covered by work it is a taxable expense. Who knows how much they upcharge the government, so I get to pay for them to ship and break my vehicle. RESPONSE to Champion: I have provided letters from pre and post move mechanics stating the damage was likely incurred during shipping. The insurance information I was given pre-shipment no where said mechanical damage was not covered. It said it covered all "physical damage". And of course you can't tell there is mechanical damage when you pick it up by looking at it! Come on! Buyer beware. Ask around on some military forums about these people shipping vehicles for PCS, I am by far not the only one with a bad experience out there. ALSO they seem to have just completely ignored the fact that I have letters from my mechanic a week before the vehicle be shipped where they did a front and rear differential inspection and the fluid was clean and good. AND I have a letter from a mechanic after I picked the vehicle up where they note that the differentials are full of water!!!!!
