All of their movers are on drugs and are super inefficient. They took forever and they broke multiple items. Their manager is dreadful at best.

They gave us a horrible price. We went with another moving company in Blacksburg.

Super efficient administratively. Great response time and when I thought the price was steep they worked with me. Move itself was local and where I go from five stars to two. Three movers showed up to an apt. Three pieces of bedroom furniture and a large sofa and arm chair were pretty much the move. Movers were somewhat unpleasant and grumpy. When they took the sofa they dragged it through the doorway and somehow did not rip it (though as you will see below I’m not sure!!) After a three minute drive to the unload location, they grumbled about having to use the back door, which was always noted as a strong possibility, and logical as it led to the basement where the furniture was going. Admittedly driveway is short and steep, and the interior angle to the basement sharp, so by deciding to use the basement entrance out back there was a bit of walking. I had a few rooms in the basement they could use for the few items but the ceiling is low in some spots so they opted to put everything in one room (unbeknownst to me). Although they tried to leave without me checking I asked if I could see their work and wax shocked to see they had crammed everything into one room and worse of all, had put the sofa upside down on top of other items. So not only is the sofa resting on its arms, there is no way to get to the other items unless I take the room apart. Shame on me for not saying something other than “oh I thought the sofa was going in the other room” (to which there was no response), however the gentlemen made me feel uncomfortable and I just wanted it to be done. Over the years I have done quite a few moves, two of which were over three days, and I have had great crews. So this was a bit of a shock and even though I have another quick local move coming up, I’m going elsewhere.
