College Hunks Moving, Huntington NY

We used college Hunks to remove junk, and they also took apart and removed an above ground pool and swingset. I can’t say enough about how pleased we were with this service. Ricardo and his team worked very hard, and accomplished a lot in the time they were here. They were pleasant and professional- and got the job done! I will recommend them to everyone I know!

WE HAD THE NICEST, EFFICIENT GROUP OF GUYS. I WISH I REMEMBERED ALL THEIR NAMES. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL, ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS AND WORKED SPEEDILY AND SAFELY. Biggest mistake using this company. I hired on my brothers behalf to relocate (7) pieces of furniture from his 3rd floor walk up to a storage unit less than a mile away. I was quotes $700, 2guys/2hours/packing materials. It took them 7 hours to complete and charged me a little over $1500. I called to find out what went wrong and I found out they sent (1) qualifies mover and (1) person who handles junk pick up with no mover experience. So, essentially, the one mover was doing all the work. I spoke to an operations manager by the name of Christian to go over why the long duration and where the added costs came from. He explained it all and followed up by advising if I did not pay in that moment, he would call the cops on me and my brother. I was beside myself and tried to explain that I paid for (2) movers and only received (1). He was unwilling to take responsibility for the botched job and threatened, again, several times, to call the cops if I did not pay. It was such an unprofessional experience. Christian is a bully and used intimidation and abused his power in the situation to over charge for the moving services that were unimaginably inferior. I could have hired anybody else and they would have done a better job than this. I have never been made feel like a criminal for simply trying to understand how my bill went from a$700 quote $1500 bill. I implore you never to use College Hunks for moving services. They will send you anybody and the inexperience will cost you by the hour. My two hour job took 7 hours.

Had “ COLLEGE HUNKS” load a 20 ft truck after emptying a storage shed. It was a stress free event and a pleasure to deal with this company. The two “ Hunks” Joe and Devin were diligent and careful , hustling the whole time. They were professional , courteous and considerate, a rarity during difficult times. We highly recommend this company and it’s employees. We will hire them again!! Thank you, Cathy & Paul

Best crew EVER just cleaned out my parents items that aren't moving. The team was neat, on time, fun, and absolutely professional. Hands down only Guys we'll use in future.
