The only reason I am giving them a 1 is because the contracted movers were nice and tried to be helpful. We are in GA and we hired Correira Brothers to move my college students stuff in Providence RI from the first to the second floor. When the 2 guys came they moved everything except they could not get the sleeper sofa upstairs. They said they needed a 3rd guy to get it up. So we called dispatch. They were beyond rude. They first told us to cut the banister (its a rental) or if they had to come back it would be an additional 300.00 to move the couch. They said they tried their best. Now my son's couch is still in the old apartment. THIS IS THE WORST MOVING COMPANY( expect the 2 guys that came). They had 1 floater and he was spread between 3 jobs. Now I am stuck having to figure out how to get the couch upstairs. I would not recommend them!!!
BEWARE!! On a recent move during then COVID-19 pandemic - one of the movers showed up with NO MASK and walked into my house and straight into my bathroom without asking! I asked if he had a mask and to use it. He didn’t have one - I provided a mask for him to use. He still didn’t use it. At the new place he still didn’t use it!!! The same mover - broke a ceramic lamp, which was not wrapped. I was told by the more senior mover that I would be able to put in a claim and I would be compensated for the damage. Pictures were taking and he called it into the office to report it. At the end of the move the senior mover and I called the office to complete the payments etc. I was then told that I could submit a claim for the lamp and that they would pay for the damage by the person in the office. And they told he what to do submit for the claim. I submitted everything I needed- and it’s a lot! Now I’m told that i will not be getting anything for the broken lamp because lamps are not covered! And I was told to “ read the terms”. Well... I did read the terms and it states: 6. Any damages must be noted on the company's Acceptance of Delivery Report during the final walk-through and photos must be taken with the company's camera before departure. If damage does occur to your shipment, you are legally responsible to pay the full shipment amount, then you must go through the claims process. Payment for service is separate from any claims for loss or damage. 25. When moving household items, we have found deterioration occurs over time due to age/heat/dry rotting. Mattresses lump and disfigure upon disturbing, lamp shades and lamp bases and wiring also become brittle and rotten. If you wish, we will move them carefully, but will not be responsible for damage of deteriorated items. If due to an inherent weakness in a piece of furniture (i.e. defect, prior repair, unstable construction) if damage occurs, you understand that the company will not be liable for any damages to that piece. My lamp was NOT DETERIORATED it was BROKEN DUE TO A CARELESS MOVER!! I was told that there was nothing I can do! I’m not looking for a lot just a restitution for what was carelessly broken by a careless mover. The mover hit the base of the lamp on the truck while putting it into the truck- he lamp was not wrapped or protected in any way.
This review is regarding management and their lack of customer services. I booked this company for a long distance move. The movers were great, yet management was rude and unresponsive to an issue that arose when the movers were reassembling furniture (that they took apart). A screw was lost. As it stands, they are attempting to charge me extra for labor while my furniture is still not fully assembled.
I had a great experience. Tim and Dapo were extremely professional and gentle with my furniture. All around good guys would recommend them at any time.
Best moving experience I have ever had, Moreece and Rock were fast, efficient, kind and funny throughout the entire move. I felt confident that my belongings were in good hands, and honestly enjoyed the process! My furniture was well cared for, and not only was the process fast, it was awesome to see my new place come together as they helped arrange and assemble the furniture without hesitation. this is my second move in the past six months and it’s safe to say, this company and these men in particular were a saving grace!!
