Was very helpful + courteous
I would not recommend them at all for multiple reasons. First, after a pre-move survey showing the number of flat screen TVs we had they showed up and said they didn't realize we had 2 65 inch TVs and didn't have crates. They put a few boxes together to make containers for the TVs that provided no cushion or support. They arrived with white spots around the edges of the screens when the image was darker. These TVs were 6 months old and not damaged at all prior to the move. They did not cover repairing/replacing them b/c there was no other indications of damage from the movers and normal vibrations in transit can cause damage. This response blew my mind. Secondly, they did a very poor job packing my items and labeling the boxes. The worst one was ALL of the individual bathroom items that could fit were stuffed down into my very used kitchen trashcan and then the trashcan placed into a box. Obviously I keep it fairly clean but there is no telling the bacteria from that can that was then all over my bathroom items like loofas, foot scrubbers, etc. Many items were scratched and clearly handled poorly with no regard to caring at all about taking care of the customer’s personal belongings. Next, when our stuff arrived because the boxes were labeled poorly it was impossible to find parts or pieces to items. They couldn't put my desk together b/c the legs were not kept with the top while packing. We eventually found them shoved down in a random box from the garage. The driver did find the screws but couldn't find the legs and after a day unpacking I found the legs and called him and asked where he put the screws. He said "I gave them to you" (which he didn't) and we never found them and still don't have our desk put together b/c we haven’t been able to get replacements. Finally, there was also a box missing that had an iMac computer and Nintendo switch in it among other items. We went over all boxes multiple times trying to find it and they left to go look for it at the end of the day after unloading the truck. They found it opened and dented. Thankfully the Mac (which is what I was concerned about when I saw computer on the list for the item) was fine and I saw the Nintendo box so thought nothing of it. Well, it turned out the Nintendo was not in the box and it was empty. When they were originally packing they weren't going to pack my dresser items into boxes and it had the Nintendo Switch in it. I told them that was fine but let me grab the Switch so it doesn't get damaged and put it in its box for them to pack. In front of him I placed the Switch in its original packaging and asked them to put it down in the box with the computer. The Switch was not in the box when we opened it at our destination. I don't know if it was taken prior to the move or when the box went missing and was clearly opened prior to being returned to me. However, this is the thing that bothered me most with this mover. I can tolerate accidents happening or damages but when we got our response that they would not cover this item missing it was very concerning to me and made me wonder how many other things go missing for people that they do this to. I mentioned before the labeling was terrible. The iMac box line just said computer etc (no serial) and after getting my shipment I realized many things that should have been clearly labeled weren't. Most other boxes had very vague descriptions. Part of that is my fault but there were over 200 boxes and it's a lot to try to keep up with and I falsely counted on the integrity of the movers/company. When I put the Nintendo box in last minute as they were finishing the box they didn't add it to the description and therefore wouldn't honor replacing it. Hopefully whoever ended up with it really needed it. I didn’t want to leave a review like this but since the movers couldn’t make it right I feel it very important to warn other customers and ensure everyone makes sure items are labeled correctly with this mover and no higher price items are left off the list!
This company appeared to be doing a great job until it was all said and done. First, make sure that you read the contract and know that your estimate is just that. You will be charged for weight that you won't have any evidence to prove. Secondly, make sure that you check the inventory sheets to make sure that everything that goes on the truck has been listed. Unfortunately, my Apple computer that has years of personal information, etc. developed legs during the move. I was told that it was probably left at the stop before me. And then there were several things damaged which these guys don't care about making right. All in all I was offered 60 cents per pound of damage. A 2k computer was evaluated at 36.00 and for damage to a leaf on a table, a china closet, a desk and a grill wheel the total offered for the claim was $196. Yes, these folks only care about taking your money and mysteriously misplacing your electronics. My advice is to take your own computers or anything of value with you when you move. These folks just care about making the money and could care less about their clients. My advice is to move yourself or get someone more reliable! I wish I could have given 0 stars!
I wish you had ten stars. These men moved everything out of my house in three hours. I have heavy furniture. They moved it into my new house in three hours. They took everything apart, wrapped and taped. They unwrapped, put together and put it exactly where I wanted it. I really cannot recommend them more. Just simply awesome! Oh, came in under estimate and there was zero damage to anything.
Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish! Marty was extremely fair with his pricing. Rickie, Donnie, and Tommy never stopped working. They were fast, efficient, and they treated my belongings with the utmost care. I could not be happier.
