To keep it short and simple I had the 2 man 2hr deal for $380 (I believe that was the total) ... it took 5 hrs for them to move my stuff out of a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment to my storage unit behind my apartment.. they came unprepared, one of the guys seemed like he had an attitude and didn't want to do work.

Never again! I do not reccommend them. I had a small one bedroom apartment and chose the Econ-package for $299 and 3 movers. I had already packed and wrapped my furniture to expedite the move within the allotted 2 hours. The 3 men arrived and started to take some things outside. The owner came by to check on them and the 3 movers agreed that they should be finished well within an hour since everything was already packed. Once the owner left, the crew took their time moving my stuff. One of the men didn’t return to my apartment. I went outside to see where he was and he was on his cell phone in the back of the van sweeping out trash onto the sidewalk. I went back inside my apartment with the other two movers and at one point, I was the only one there. The other two men had stopped moving my items and didn’t come back. I went to look for them and they were all in the back of the van hanging out. I was so disappointed to see that. That whole move took 5 unnecessary hours. Plus, they charged me a $26 credit card fee and they expected a tip. I don’t blame the owner for the actions of his crew but I would never use or recommend this business because of the employees.

Dc movers is and always will be my go to company for all my moving needs. Jessica Stewart was very helpful with getting me prompt scheduling even with a last minute request. The movers were very cautious with all of my furniture. Every individual I crossed paths with in this company were wonderful. I highly recommend DC movers!!!

Terrible terrible terrible. The owner is completely clueless. Quoted me a price for a move plus storage and then raise the price for the move by $800 while my belongings were in storage. I decided to do the move myself after he raised the price but when I went to the storage unit the owner couldn’t even find the keys to open it. I had to wait for nearly two hours for a locksmith to show up before I finally was able to move my stuff out of the storage unit. Stay away from this company. They are absolutely the worst.

My wife and I would like to thank DC Movers for a successful move across the country. We choose DC Movers because of how quickly they could get our belongings from Durham, NC to Salt Lake City, Utah. It took them four days to pick up and deliver and the price was comparable to van lines which is normally the cheaper option but delivery is always delayed due to the nature of how they perform moves. We highly recommend this company.
