Derosier Storage Company

I can't say enough nice things about this company. They moved both my mom and I from CT (different towns) to DE (again different towns) together. They also packed up my mom. They handled every issue (all minor) with professionalism and showed up on time. The owners were great and so were all of their employees. Their prices were amazing and they made a stressful move as pleasant as possible. As someone who has overseen many moves (professional organizer by trade), I was very impressed by their professionalism and the care they took with our belongings from start to finish.

I've used DeRosier several times and have always been more than satisfied. When I've needed to reschedule my moves for one reason or another, they've been very accommodating. I have an upcoming move and am very confident that it will go off without a hitch.

The other review on the site does not surprise. The second generation is rarely as good as the first and in this case Keith just is not up to snuff. I asked them to give me an estimate, talked to his father Alan and discussed the parameters on my dates. No problem. They knew the size of the load because they moved me into the house and I discussed the square footage. Well after meeting for an hour and going over every item I awaited a response. I did not hear. When I eventually got in touch with Keith his first question was, did i get other bids. Then he feigned surprise that i did not get his email, yet I watched him put my address into his I-pad. Well, the dates weren't going to work for him and he didnt want to do it. If that was the case they could of told me that when I spoke with the father. This isn't rocket science especially when i mentioned the dates up front. So it seems neither father nor son are very good at planning, though they are very nice people. In short, stay away.

We hired Derosier Moving as our local representative for a long haul cross country move with their national partner, Arpin. Derosier did a very poor job of managing the move and representing our interests throughout the move. The Arpin moving van arrived on day one with 2 previous loads on the truck, Derosier packed us up day one, and then only half way through the second move-out day did they inform us that our load would not fit on the truck. They had to know in advance of our move that this was going to happen. It is a mathematical weight based system. Where was the second truck?!! Derosier and Arpin feigned ignorance and told us "this happens all the time." We are still waiting 14 days later for the second load to arrive. I understand the logistical intricacies of planning and carrying out a move. We hired Derosier to manage these details and keep us informed all along the way. They failed at this. Furthermore, they have not offered any type of discount or compensation for our extreme inconvenience. Instead they continue to pursue their egregious profit margins while our family of five camps-out in our new house without a great deal of our belongings, furniture and necessities.
