DeVries Moving-Packing-Storage

The move out crew were great. They worked fast, yet was careful with our items. The move in crew again was careful with our items. The complaint that I have is that they worked really fast for the first hour, but slowed down and each hour went by. They were here about 4 hours. During that time they took 2 breaks, and spent a fair amount of time standing in the truck talking. They were friendly and cautious with our furniture. It was just the amount of time they spent not working that resulted in this not being a 5 star rating. I would give the move out crew 5 stars. Yes I would hire DeVries Moving again.

Very disappointing experience. It is hard to tell who is responsible for some items but Devrie was responsible for our pack out. The inventory list numbering had multiple errors, my parts box was missing essential hardware but the worst was the breakdown of our power bed. We are now without a bed through the long weekend because the bed was disassembled incorrectly. 100s of little pieces and no one able to touch it. There were many broken items but I am unable to determine whether they were broken before or after transfer to storage. During our pack the company begin to run out of boxes and end up repurposing a trash box they were using throughout the day. I heard this through their discussion while sitting in my garage. Great company! We have used them a couple times and have never had a bad experience. They even fit our whole 3200 square foot house belongings into a 10x20 storage unit. So not only were they less expensive than other moving companies but they also saved me money on the rent of a second storage unit.
