I’ve waited a few months to write this review in the hopes our situation would be taken care of, but it hasn’t. We had our household goods picked up in o’ Fallon and stored with them for 5 mo. All of that went well! We worked with the office staff who were truly amazing (I’ll give them 5 stars). We had our items ready for delivery in November. Of course, we had to pay upfront. Day of loading/day before delivery, we were notified “some” of our items were being sent to overflow. Our first shipment was delivered Nov 21. That was a mess, the inventory was all messed up since our items were separated- stickers and bingo sheet weren’t matching up. Everyday, until dec 3, I had to call to see when the rest of our stuff (5k pounds and over 100 boxes, 5 bookshelves and a kayak) would be delivered. Again, the office staff did their best in keeping me up to date. This was out of their hands and up to unigroup and driver. Per my contract, I was supposed to have ALL of my household goods by Nov 27. It was 5 days late which meant I was supposed to be compensated $500. Corporate claims no because my stuff was “overflow”. I don’t feel 5k pounds and 1/3 of our items is overflow. And why do you get it delivered to me when you feel like it? That “overflow” shipment was ALL of our kitchen, bedding and warm clothes. I’ve argued with this company and corporate for 2 mo now. We are military and had to pay out of pocket for this move due to late orders. I’ve never had such an issue with a moving company in our 10 moves. Not to mention all the broken and lost items we have! I’m writing this review here because this is the company I paid. This was a move from IL to CO. I’ve been told this is corporates fault as they wanted my shipment split. Regardless, mayflower, United, unigroup all seem to be the same mismanaged company. I wouldn’t recommend them for an out of state move.

Great experience with this company. The initial pickup was quick and easy. Although I didn't have them deliver my items, the pickup with them was also a breeze. I let them know what day I could come and they had my items ready for pickup. They brought us in from the rain, and helped put the boxes in my vehicle. All items were in tact & accounted for. Signed off on the paperwork & we were probably out of there in under 10 minutes. Thanks so much!
