Dominant Moving Systems

Roman answered my call for an urgent moving job that I had end of the month. My roommate and I were moving and we were double booked by another moving company and stuck in a bind. The time was already 1 pm and everywhere else I called was booked. He said he would call me back as his drivers were at a job and not sure how long they would be. He called me back 10 mins later letting me know they can be to us by 4 at an awesome rate! Not only did they show up an hour early, they were also very efficient and conscious of both our possessions and our health with it still being a pandemic and all. Arsenio was extremely professional and made sure the job was done right and to completion. Recommend these guys over all if you need a move job.

I've hired Dominant Moving company for 3 times, and it's always been a pleasure experience. I'm surprised to see the 1 star reviews b/c that's completely different experience from what I had with DMC. I'm moving across town with 2b2b worth of furniture, and the whole process took ~3 hours with 2 movers that's very efficient and careful, and kind. - Communication was smooth, I was able to change the scheduled moving time without problem. There's a client portal you can easily track your appointments with them - Furnitures were well taken care of. We had a fine wardrobe, couch, a big TV and other stuffs, all were packed up with plastic wraps/blankets. After they were moved to the new place, there was only few scratches which is acceptable given the heaviness and elevation the movers had to deal with. - The moving was fast, loading & unloading, packing, all was fast - they *ain't* trying to get more money by slowing down the process.

I thought I forgot about my unhappy moving experience last year until I saw their truck stopped in our community today. I hope today their client can feel happy about the experience, since when I moved last year with them, it was an almost awful memory. I moved from one bedroom one bathroom apartment (2F) to my current apartment (1F) which is only two blocks away. I prepackaged and I did a lot of moving work by myself including moving packages and small furniture. Still, although the quotation was about 3+ hours, finally it was over 7+ hours and I participated in the moving procedure for almost all these 7 hours. The movers assigned to me were young; I guess it was their part-time jobs for extra money for school. They worked slower than the other movers I previously hired from other moving companies in east coast and northern California; and they walked slower than me. I was exhausted moving packages and they told me “great job!” I felt sad because I had to move faster because they did not do a great job... Several small things were missing on the way and one light was broken. I still paid tip and totally the bill was about $700+. The worst experience and the most expensive ever so far. I tried to remind them to walk and work faster but they complained that because I did not live in a house and most of their clients are living in the house so that they could move faster and don’t need to walk! There were stairways/shortcuts, but they would rather detour to take elevators even with empty hands. I wish I could totally forget about this; however, once I saw their truck today under my window, I still felt the bad feeling I suffered last year.. The owner sounds like a good man and he compensated me for the broken light, that is why I add one star. I hope it was because of the movers I was assigned to did not feel well that day; otherwise, their working load/billable methods are not very professional.

First time using movers so my husband and I were a little scared. Did a bunch of research and decided to go with Dominant. Honestly BEST decision, these guys were fast, professional and polite. Did the whole move in about 2 hours which is very impressive considering that we have a set of HEAVY recliners, 2 TVs both over 65", heavy boxes Ect and we moved to an apt in the 5th floor. If you are looking for movers and can't decide hands down one of the best customer service experience. Thank you guys! If we move again we will be calling you.

Bad experience all the way around. Would not hire these guys. No customer service, very slow employees and smelled like weed- probably why slow. Caused damage by dragging my expense furnishings on the street. No compensation from manager/ owner- actually rude and charged my card without permission. Sad move. Estimated time was 4 or 5 hours, took them 8 hours. Charged for 8 plus double time on freeway. Beware folks.
