Don Farr Moving & Storage

In 2006 I hired this company to relocate me from Pittsburgh Pa to Menifee California. I paid over $16,000 to be stolen from, had my Pottery Barn furniture smashed to into pieces, my sons motor Scooter stolen, my husband’s grandfather’s WWII antique rifle stolen, my life being threatened by the movers when I confronted them! I tried calling the office to have my possessions returned or financially reimbursed being there was an itemized list of my belongings before they loaded the truck as well as after they delivered my belongings broken and stolen! I had insurance and they never reimbursed me nor did they return any calls or emails, as a matter of fact they disconnected me several times! PLEASE PLEASE DONT ALLOW THESE MOVERS TO MOVE YOU, I WILL CONTINUE TO POST REVIEWS IN ORDER TO PROTECT OTHERS FROM THE SAME FATE I HAD!!!

Movers from Don Farr stole a handful of gold jewelry from a jewelry box. It was not open and they did not move the box- they would have had to look for it and through it. When I called the company to complain, I spoke with Ron, who gave my personal cell number to one of the men (Fred) who potentially took the jewelry, instead of directing me to a claims department. This is a breach of privacy, especially because that man already has my home address as well. The men who moved me on May 27 were Fred, Terry, and Dan. I specifically asked for 2 movers but Fred brought his grandson (Dan) the day of the move without notifying me beforehand in any way. I was not charged for his help, but thought the business was not transparent with me. On a preliminary Zoom call to Don Farr on May 12, 2020, associate Jay Kenney asked to see what was in each of my wardrobes. He insisted I opened them after I told him all contents would be removed before moving.

If I could give 0 start I would. They managed in 2 days to ruin every piece of furniture I own. Chips and chunks take out of almost everything. I filed a complaint and Sara was useless. I think they gave me $300. It was insulting.

I have moved many times in my life and have never been treated worse. During the move the lead guy kept commenting on the quality of my furniture stating Stearns and Foster is the best and my car was a high end and the furniture was solid. I knew right then that they were going to soak me on the price and they sure did!

Stanley, John Baron, Tyler Gruff, and Marco were terrific. They arrived early, completed the moved quickly and showed great care for our items. Would definitely use them again and recommend this team!
