Beware of this company.... we caught them trespassing on our multi family property and litter through our hallways & soliciting to our tesidents... we had to give them a verbal trespassing warning and thrething to call the cops just to get them off the property since they refuse to when ask.... we are thinking about pressing charges for littering on private property.... please use a reputable company...

My experience with Ronnie and EZ Way Moving was not pleasurable. Initial communication and making the appointment for my move with Ronnie over the phone was okay, but the business conducted in person was anything but... I notified Ronnie of the weight of my bed over the phone, before booking the appointment, and he adjusted the price of my move accordingly. No problem. Upon arrival, he increased the price another $150 claiming that it was due to weight of the bed, even though he had already been notified of this and quoted me for it in our initial conversation. He also stated that the price increased because he had to pack kitchen and bathroom items. However, he told me that he charged by the hour, not by the number of rooms or items. So which is it? Secondly, he was very unprofessional in handling the matter of moving my bed to an upstairs level of my new home. Not only did he refuse to attempt to move it, saying that it wouldn't fit, but he made the comment that he "wasn't going to kill himself" trying to do so. That comes across as lazy, and if that's the case I should not have been charged and OVERcharged for an incomplete service. I was able to get the help from two 60-year old men who took less than 10 minutes to get the bed upstairs in the proper location. Ronnie also exhibited extremely unprofessional behavior by complaining about having to drive his moving truck through a long, wooded driveway. Appropriate and thorough questions during the phone consultation would have provided him with the information he needed. It is not my responsibility as a customer to be aware of the size of the business's truck and what terrain it can or cannot pass through. It is the responsibility of the business to ask all the necessary questions to ensure being properly prepared. It also began raining during the move, which put a temporary halt on moving the items out of the truck, and Ronnie began to make comments about how he charges by the hour, implying that if the rain continued he was going to increase the price even more. Ronnie displayed more unprofessional behavior with his ridiculous persistence of wanting me to pay in cash. He never notified me that his business doesn't accept card payments on the weekend, and was EXTREMELY pushy about wanting me to stop at an ATM to make him a cash payment. I had to tell him "no" SEVERAL times before he stopped insisting. It turned out that he was able to take a card payment via a written manual invoice, which is how I paid. Despite that, it is absolutely unacceptable not to accept card payments for such large transactions, and FAIL to notify the customer of this. What could have been a simple, easy move left me feeling taken advantage of and annoyed. The actual moving of the items itself was ok. There was some damage to my bed which I took photos of. The staff were nice. Ronnie was the main issue. For paying nearly $1000 dollars for a move from a small one bedroom apartment to a small home just 20 minutes away this experience was POOR. Look elsewhere for a moving service.
