Elite has moved me twice: once from Louisiana to Arkansas, and then from Arkansas to Texas. Their rates were the best each time, but the crews were also very friendly and careful with my things. Management was easy to work with, too.

Needed a sofa moved to through the window on the second floor...they did it in 10 mins. They provided a great service for a good price, I couldn't be more satisfied.

Elite Movers packed and moved our home and ultimately did an appalling and inexcusably terrible job. This company in no way shape or form should agree to packing up a home with such limited training and over-site for their employees. As we discovered egregious errors over and over again while unpacking the boxes, the job they did became more and more shockingly horrible. Other than the majority of the kitchen, those who packed our home basically dumped loose items into boxes or shoved items into boxes, but they did not in any shape or form PACK these items. We can go through our home and just dump/shove items into boxes no problem. What we asked is for someone to professionally pack our home, to limit damages to items, to put like items together safely, to allow them to be safely stored for several months and moved, and that is not what occurred. The most commonly dumped or shoved items were books, mirrors, decorative wall hangings, delicate trinkets, breakable porcelain figurines, cups full of coins, art supplies, camera equipment, toiletries, and toys. Many of the items damaged were books that were disfigured and bent; some almost completely in half, other items, including furniture, were scratched, and a few items were broken. All of our toiletries were basically dumped into boxes, including breakable perfume bottles, without any care to what may break or spill. Our Bose radio and CD exchanger were placed in previously owned bin from the garage that had contained fertilizer and soil without any protection or padding around it whatsoever, with trash cans, toilet brushes and plungers thrown on top of it. This was left unsealed and placed into storage for many months. These items were to be packed and stored for many months as we tried to sell our home. Other boxes, which included mirrors and other wall decorations, were placed in opened, unsealed boxes along with other items such as a wall mount for a tv and an electric cord that had been outside and was visible dirty. Other items such as a crock pot and grittle were just put into boxes without any packing around the items whatsoever. We also received items and an entire box full of items that were NOT OURS, and after contacting the moving company we did not ever receive a response as to how to handle these items. We had to snoop into the box to find the owner’s name and contact them ourselves through Facebook letting them know we have a box that at least contains a bible and photo album of theirs, among other things. A table that left our house intact was delivered literally in pieces and it was unrepairable, but no one said a word, just gave us the shelves and all the pieces separately in a laundry basket. The drawer of a filing cabinet was completely ripped off. Puzzle pieces for children were taken from a drawer in a play table and were delivered to us in a mop bucket that had been in the garage, and sets of x-rays were it clearly says “do not bend” were just shoved into a basket where our cats had slept. A box of unknown items was also just dropped right in front of me as the movers worked and this did not phase the movers one bit. We have a feeling these individuals just raced through our home literally dumping and shoving items as they saw them, without any thought process as to how to strategically pack the home or care whatsoever for our things. As mentioned, these items were to be packed and stored for several months, so certain items, such as electronics, should have been at least packed appropriately. We also have no idea if everything was even delivered as boxes were not numbered and as mentioned, we received items that were not ours. Who may have received our items?!? The owner of the company also hit us with an additional 1200 dollars from the original estimate to pay after the movers were done unpacking, however after much discussion, this was lowered to $200. The complete lack of care, quality, and professionalism is appalling. Hire a real company or just do it yourself.
