When they showed up, there was supposed to be 3 movers, there was only two. The one mover spent the first hour spent cleaning the truck up from the previous move, when it the truck was supposed to be ready to go. They charged me for that hour, then refunded me for it after I asked. They said it would take 5 hours, it took 10, for 1700 Square feet. The house was packed. We still had to go back the next day and get a uhaul to get our patio furniture and garage items. They broke my new vanity, said they would replace it, and then just sent me a check to "fix" it based off of the weight. They also damaged the leg of my sofa and didn't tell me about it, they just hoped I wouldn't notice, but I did, after a couple of weeks when we went to sell it. I had a broken lamp, several broken glasses, broken eggs that made a mess of everything. I reached out several times to try and resolve it, and was told by Sandy that John wold call me back, but he never did. To top it off, Sam, the head mover, asked to use my bathroom. He completely blew up the toilet. I did not realize this until the next day when I went back to clean and could not believe that a grown man would do something like this in someone's house and not clean up after himself. I raised two kids and have husband and have never had to clean up a mess like this. I would be horrified if I was his employer.

I have had the worst experience with this company. They left a deep gouge on my front door casement and on my hardwood floor. Misquoted the move time and amount. Took 100 off the bill for the damage without my being allowed approval, and told me they would be sending out a repairman. I called to schedule the repair and was told the 100 off was in lieu of repair rather than in addition to repair. I only chose this company because no one else would answer the phone, but I was expecting professional movers who would not just shove a refrigerator through a non-small door frame without looking, who would not drag a fridge across the floor. Should have had friends do the move instead, I thought this would be less damage not more.

We had the best experience with Emerald Moving. The two gentleman and did both the loading and unloading worked quickly and hard and was considerate of making sure to cover flooring they would be moving hand trucks on. Thank you so much for your hard work and care of our property.
