I started off being pleased with service on my departing end. The quote process was friendly and they squeezed me in on short notice for a long distance move, the guys who came and loaded were pleasant and efficient. Unfortunately, that seems to be where the good side ends. When our things were delivered, many boxes were crushed, including plastic totes, fragile items that were labeled were buried, smashed, upside-down. The driver charged me a "long-distance carry" fee, though the truck was parked at the end of my driveway. The driver did not leave a PAID-IN-FULL receipt - he only left another copy of the pick-up ticket, which shows a balance due, yet he would not unload our things until he had received cash payment for the balance. Since this time, I have placed SEVERAL phone calls to the company, as well as sent emails, over the past week, requesting a complete receipt for the entire process and everything that was paid (other than the additional $500 I spent in tips out of pocket), so I can be reimbursed by my company's relocation policy. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive this document or any sort of help or response from the company at all (other than yet ANOTHER copy of the pick-up receipt in an email with no message). I would have loved to give this company 5 stars for the first impression, but I would caution anyone from using them for a long distance move or anything that requires a receipt, after this experience. I would gladly change this review if only I could get a proper response and simply a full receipt for payment to them.

Great experience, They are reasonably priced, very professional, on time and moved everything quickly without breaking anything. I will recommend to all my friends who need moving, it was referred to me and was worth every penny.

I was moving from NC to NJ and I was in a rush to get to NJ. I was offered many different options, and even though one of one movers weren't the cheapest i definitely got my money's worth. Thank god they warned me from brokers, because I was so close to picking the cheapest option but instead I went for quality not quantity. They moved me from NC on Sunday and that Monday morning they were at my house in Garfield NJ. I Am telling you, The BEST!! GOLDEN GLOVE MOVERS

This was not my first time paying for professional movers but it was definitely the first time I got a team of movers who were actually professionals. It was a simple, straightforward move without all the hassles and confusion of the typical movers. I have used many others before and no one comes close to doing jobs at the same high quality but medium pricing like golden glove movers
