I was really impressed by Tammy and the team at Greater Austin Moving & Storage. I've used them for my last four moves, and they've done an incredible job each time. For one of my moves, we only had four days to plan and execute the whole thing, and they really came through for me. Tammy is responsive over phone, text, and email. Her crews are smart, personable, and thorough. They also give you their cell numbers and you can call them at any time. I've moved dozens of times in my life, and my moves with Greater Austin were my best experience by a long shot.

We used Greater Austin Moving last weekend and had a fantastic experience. The initial estimating and quoting was made very simple and was presented to me online. On moving day the guys showed up on time, wrapped every item, and carefully packed. Disassembly, packing, unpacking and reassembly was quick and efficient. I highly recommend them.

Anytime you have to move it can be and is very stressful. My family (wife and 2 toddlers) were in a time crunch to move into our new house. After several bids from local movers in the Austin area I felt the most comfortable with these guys. From the first interaction I had to the time they finished the move and left, everyone was so professional and courteous. I even had a last minute change in the moving date and Tammy (the owner) was so accommodating and very understanding. She said no problem and made it happen. I had email updates and reminders which confirmed my confidence in them. Movers were a little early on moving day and called as a coUrtesy to see if I needed more time to prepare. Once they arrived they were very efficient and worked smart. They took great care of everything and worked around 2 toddlers the whole time. There were no hidden fees or trip charges etc. the rate they quoted me was exactly what I paid. Awesome local moving company here in Austin and would definitely use again and recommend to anyone I know.

Great communication and very good rate for moving a 5 BR house locally in town. On the day of the move, no one had shown up at 8:30 am as was originally communicated. I reached out to them and the team lead for my move had a family emergency and they were scrambling to find additional staff. The owner, Tammy, called me directly and then we continued to communicate via text until the movers showed up. She said that since it was a late start she would provide an additional mover (originally 3 movers) and an additional truck at no extra cost to make up for lost time. Once the movers were at my house by 10am, they hustled and were literally running back and forth to get everyone packed and loaded. They did end up using a little bit of the 2nd truck and then they unloaded everything at the new house really quickly. Tammy even showed up at the new house during the unload and apologized for the minor inconvenience and wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. The movers were exceptionally polite and super adept and strong at moving. I would absolutely use them again for moving and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing movers.
