Review:

Good communication, fair price. Showed up on time for our move in/out on same day. Three guys came, worked hard and got the job done. No damage to my stuff or either house. What else can you ask for? Would hire them again.

Honest, careful and came in under budget! This is the second time we have used Harris and the 4th time our family has used them. They are professional, quick and honest. The owner came to my house and quoted me for the move. After all was said and done, moving out, 2 days storage on the truck and moving in, he charged us LESS than the original quote. Highly recommend Harris!

Review:

The four guys who moved our stuff were amazing - courteous, on time, and continually cracking jokes with us and each other. Very pleasant to work with and made the experience easy. The rest? Not so much. Our couch got stuck in the stairwell of the new house because the legs got wedged against the stairs. Crew leader told us that the ceiling drywall could get damaged when they tried to move it. Except that two of their crew members were stuck behind the couch in our basement, so of course we had to get it out. Long story short - made a huge hole and damaged some of the basement drop ceiling. Crew on site was very nice, and the team lead said they would probably take care of it. I tried calling three separate times to get in touch with them about it and never received a call back. Finally got in touch with them yesterday, and had the owner out at my house today. End result: They're refusing to fix it! At least a thousand dollars worth of damage from their mistake. And they will not fix it. The owners were both quite rude which is a shame because they were quite kind when we were booking them before the move. Guess they just wanted our money. Not only were both of them rude, but they insinuated that I had told their crew to put a piece of furniture that I "knew wouldn't fit down the stairs down there anyway". Really loved that this was a small family owned company and truthfully they made a mistake. It happens. But the fact that they won't fix it is reprehensible. Would sooner put all my stuff in my own truck over an infinite amount of carloads than EVER use or recommend this company again.

A review of Harris Moving in Hightstown (or our current nightmare): Did a great job moving our stuff. Fast, reasonable, guys were courteous. Then, they got our couch stuck in the stairwell of the new house. Told us the drywall could get damaged when they went to get it out. But of course we had to get it out. Made a huge hole. Also damaged some of the ceiling. Guy on site was very nice, said they would probably take care of it. Cut to us trying to get in touch with them three separate times. Finally did. The movers told the owners that we were given a choice to take the couch out safely or move it down and possibly damage the wall. Not true. Our choice was to leave it stuck or maybe damage the wall. What choice did we have??? The movers also told the owners that they didn't say it would be fixed. Anyway, they will not fix it! At least a thousand dollars worth of damage from their mistake. And they will not fix it. The owners were both quite rude which is a shame because they were quite kind when we were dealing with them before the move. Really loved that this was a small family owned company and truthfully they made a mistake. It happens. But the fact that they won't fix it is reprehensible. We do not understand why they won't fix it because they have insurance!!! It's mind boggling. Don't use this company.
