Hero Moving Hawaii

This started as a call to get a quote. I was pushed into setting an appointment under the assumption that I could cancel at any time. (Or at least 24 hours in advance) The date I scheduled the move for was three days out. I called the NEXT DAY to cancel as we were not going to be able to get the paperwork completed in time (hit some snags). When I called to cancel I was told there is a cancelation fee. When I asked why this is the first time I am hearing about it I am told "well it was in the confirmatiom email I sent you". The email that was SENT AFTER I already "agreed" to the fee by setting the appointment. The only resolution I was given was to reschedule for less than a week out. (Cant reschedule more than a week out from the original date). Which also is way too soon as we decided to go with a different apartment. They showed up on the day scheduled and I must have forgotten to cancel. I then see a charge for $300 in my bank account. Very poor customer service and will not be using ever again. Do not recommend.

These guys are so awesome. They made my day (That I had been dreading ) so easy. The Guys were so polite. I have heard horror stories about moving companies as I have never hired one. I will NEVER move myself again and will always hire Hero Moving. The guys were not all fire fighters which is fine . Some were ems or Emt , military. They were hero’s to me that day either way !

We had three very nice and very respectful young men help us move last Friday. We had ALOT of stuff and a lot of glass/fragile contents inside the what had to be at least 100 boxes and I can honestly say not one single thing is cracked or broken . They worked efficiently and effectively for 6 hours. They never stopped moving. They went above and beyond what any moving company has ever done and I was so impressed. I will be recommending this company to anyone and everyone I know who has a move planned. I have used some big name Austin moving companies with fancy trucks, fancy equipment and fancy prices. These three gentleman blew them out of the water.

Great movers, efficient and nice!

I did an in home detailed estimate- from their website- someone also came to our home to do the estimate... They under estimated so all our furniture didn't fit on truck- we were advised if we wanted to try and repack truck- they would charge us for that time- on top of what we already paid or we could rent a regular moving truck and they would load it for free. Basically we were SOL and they did nothing to make up for their bad estimate except saying that in their estimate it was noted that it would be close for all our stuff to fit in truck. We did long haul moving- can't afford second trip. Plus they did not take off any plastic or packing which it says they would. Nothing was set up. They hid items that they broke behind other items. They broke at least 4 things... 1 an antique. Would not recommend or use them again. Small truck/trailer- it is not regular moving truck or similiar size. Took 2 days for a move 5hrs away for a 3 bdroom home- cost was 2700$. I had chosen them as my husband and I are veterans ourselves, however, none of the movers were veterans or similiar.
