Hood Moving & Relocation

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! I moved from Pennsylvania to Tennessee. Every time I called I spoke to Hood directly and he was always helpful and friendly. The price was 30% less than national moving companies, and they packed everything!! Hood’s estimate over the phone was within 10% of the actual weight. The movers themselves were awesome....professional, courteous, and efficient. No damage to anything. Big advantage over the national movers was the speed, nothing else on the truck so my things were delivered in two days rather than waiting around for the truck to get there after who knows how many stops. These guys will move me anywhere I go in the future!

The guys arrived on time and were very efficient. Jumped straight to work mode and were very friendly to our kiddos. They took the time to be nice and didn’t mind our 3 year trying to help. They moved us from Huntsville, Alabama to Chattanooga, TN which was a ALL DAY event and even allowed us some time to stop and grab a bite to eat for us and the kids. Super helpful and made a super stressful situation a bit easier! Thanks Guys! We really appreciate your service and professionalism.

I did not use them but witnessed what they did to our neighborhood and neighbors yard. This was not the first time as they did the same thing two years ago when moving the people into their new home. This truck is too big for our circles and damages included; sidewalk cracking from running up into a neighbors yard, flower garden demolishing in another neighbors yard and marking up the curb in our island area. A neighbor made call to their office and the person on the other end was rude and uncaring about the destruction of their truck driver. You may notice that the truck has a different name on the side but the drivers and crew all had on blue shirts with Hood printed on them. The sidewalk marking shot shows where they busted it last time and the new marks made by the truck. You can also see the truck up in the yard and possibly damaging our irrigation system under their tires We will not know until we fire it up in a couple of weeks. Please avoid using this company. UPDATE and Clarification: Again, I did not use this company. I am an HOA Board Member looking out for our community and residents. Mr. Hood and I have had a civil conversation about the situation. It will be ongoing until we determine if irrigation lines will have to be repaired due to the heavy weight of the semi on the properties.
