Humboldt Storage and Moving Company

Humboldt was great throughout my move process. The initial video walk-through and estimate were professional and thorough, the cost was about what I'd expect for a professional long-distance move, and there were no hidden fees later in the process/at the end of my move. My move coordinator was very kind and supportive; she checked in with me and was responsive with my assorted questions. The movers at both loading and unloading were efficient, organized, and friendly. They were also precisely on time in my delivery window. The movers at unloading were even willing to carry my (unfortunately too large for the elevator it turned out) couch up the stairs to my living room. Overall, I would recommend them to others!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. When starting our search for our move from Framingham to Atlanta my original thought was to do Pods or U-Pack as a cost-cutting initiative. My brother in law who has been a mover for the better part of 30 years was very down on the self-serve Pods. So I researched and found that it was not the best way to go. He recommended Humboldt as a company he knew. He told me they are honest and have a not to exceed guarantee. I looked at them as well as two other national movers. Humboldt came in with the best price (which is always a good thing) Upon selecting Humboldt I worked with Dave on the estimate and initial contact. He informed me of their services and who I would be in contact with. During the process, there was no runaround or confusion. When you call they answer the phone ' How can I relieve your stress' which anyone who has moved long-distance knows what that is like. My contact/coordinator was Bethany, She was a great resource and help during the entire move. On move day our driver Hector showed up on time and ready to go. He and one other gentleman load our entire 4 bed 2 bath home in just under 6 hours. Hector and his loader were amazing and extremely professional. When we pulled away on our drive to Atlanta I knew our stuff was in great hands. We received several calls from Bethany throughout the day of the move as well as our delivery date. Hector called from the road with status reports as well. As expected our Truck arrived as promised at 8:30 am this morning. Hector and a crew of 2 other gentlemen came in and completely unloaded the truck and placed things where we wanted them as well as helped in getting a piece of furniture up the stairs and into my home office. They were efficient and professional. To wrap up the day Bethany called and checked on us and the whole process. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. If I knew then what I know now I would have saved myself a lot of time and effort and just gone with Humboldt.

I have moved several times and have never had such a positive experience. Both the office staff and the movers were extremely responsive, communicative, and so personable. The movers showed up early and were so extremely helpful (and innovative) with packing & re-packing certain items to ensure they weren't damaged in transport. While this was my first (and hopefully last) long distance move, i would not even think about moving with another company. Such a pleasant experience.

What could have been a difficult move, turned out to be a pleasure. All of the folks at Humboldt knew what they were doing and knew what I needed. They invariably anticipated my questions and had good solid answers. Everything they promised to do, they did. All of the people I worked with online and in-person were helpful and pleasant and easy going. Just good folks. I highly recommend them.

We recently moved from Massachusetts to Florida and had the great pleasure of working with the moving team at Humboldt. They were prompt, efficient, great to deal with and met our every expectation. The move could not have gone any smoother. We would especially like to compliment Thomas, our driver, who we very highly recommend and would definitely go out of our way to request again should the need ever arise.
