My move with J&J movers was fantastic! They worked with me through the entire process, from assessing the quote, to managing movable items on the inventory, even to making a few adjustments the day of the move! And they did it all for a FLAT RATE (not an hourly rate) so there were no unexpected charges. Even when there was a slight issue with one of their moving crew not able to come during the move due to sickness, the management staff worked with me, were very reasonable and gave me a few options to resolve the problem, one of which led to a decrease in the total amount of the move. Can't recommend these guys enough. Great job!

We needed some labor only assistance unloading a moving truck packed with our daughter's belongings due to a relocation from Rochester NY to Boston's North Shore for a new job. We found J & J Movers on Craig's List and were hesitant at first to contract with someone sight unseen but George and his crew lived up to and surpassed all our expectations. The crew (Ken and Louis) were on-time, worked carefully and diligently (declining offered breaks)and finished the unloading job in less than 2 hours! The cost was competitive and fair. It was a pleasure working with George and the crew of J&J Moving. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

This is the second time I have J&J, and have been very impressed again. As soon as they parked their truck, they scanned all the packed items, and started loading them to maximize space in the truck. The guys were relentless until the job was done, and did not waste a single minute of time. They took good care of the furniture during the move. Recommend highly, and was glad that both my experiences were smooth because of J&J.

Saved me. I had a difficult move coming up and it was a situation where one landlord insisted I get out on the last day of the month, and the new place was not available until the following day.... Hurricane Irene was coming and everyone was getting frantic. then my mom unexpectedly took ill and died. I needed to leave to get the funeral underway, AND I needed help with virtually no notice to get her furniture moved to my new place, all while I was away attending to family matters. With the help of a friend and J&J all went smoothly and I came back to find this end of my nightmare completely taken care of. I can;t say enough about J&J. They were recommended to me and I have used them three times myself. They are AWESOME. Call me if you need a reference!
