This place is very unprofessional they posted a ad saying they were hiring I applied I call the daughter answer the phone and said she see my resume and I'll be a good fit for the company the owner call me and wanted me to find work for him before I was on payroll after I said once I'm on payroll sure I'll be a salesman. I never heard back. This place a scam.
Zero stars if possible. Owner has avoided paying people that he owes money to. Carriers, employees and who knows who else. It is the companies responsibility to know if their employee is at work or not. Just another way to avoid doing what it right. Company is very unprofessional and not ran responsibly .
Very professional and satisfied my every needs, We Love to use them on every move.
We used Joanna's moving a few months ago. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD. Here are some bullet points: - Joanna's is contracted by a broker. The broker has no responsibility other than arranging the move. The broker was non-responsive to our phone calls regarding status of the shipment. They always said "someone will call back...and we never received a call. - Delivery of our shipment was contracted at 30 days. In the interim you have no idea whatsoever where your personal effects are stored. - I specifically told the driver that some of my fine art required climate controlled storage. He basically blew me off. - After numerous phone calls to Joanna's they told us our effects were stored in a non-climate controlled environment but in a secure outdoor location. OK. This is July/August in Atlanta. Temps wer in the 90's. The storage unit was way over 100 degrees. - After numerous attempts to find out a delivery date, the shipment showed up without any communication that it was on the way or would be delivered on a specific date. - Joanna's hires via a local staffing company people to offload the shipment. These people had little regard for scraping doors and banging corners and entrances to rooms. - If you were not there to tell them where the items went in the house, then they just dumped it in our garage. - Joanna's did not wrap our main mattress in any plastic wrap or other preventative method. Our 5 week old mattress showed up with grease marks, it was dirty on the bottom and ripped in two areas. - Joanna's said that the mattress should have been cleaned. My wife and I slept on a blowup mattress for 5 weeks. Then the mattress arrives in a condition like it was found on a street corner. I bought another and the refused to reimburse me for any damages. There contract specifically stated mattresses would be wrapped in plastic. - Numerous articles were broken. Some of these had intrinsic value and were one of a kinds. - COMMUNICATION WAS PITIFUL WITH THE BROKER AND JOANNA's. - THE DRIVER REFUSED TO TELL US WHERE OR EFFECTS WERE BEING STORED - THE SHIPMENT SHOWED UP WITHOUT ANY ADVANCE NOTICE - MANY ITEMS WERE DAMAGED AND BEYOND REPAIR I suggest that you do not use Joanna's except for inter-city moves. If you are moving a measurable distance, my recommendation is to find a company like Mayfair or Allied.
Great movers, took care of my things!
